The QLD Colts 2020 thread seems a little uneventful so posting my question here “Which u20 prospects would you consider most likely to play premier grade this year?” “Which clubs are they at?”

So when does every club trials start? 29th Feb for Wests... In years past there has been some teams who start a week early with trial match against the QLD U20s or touring teams from overseas. Really starting to get excited for 2020 QPR!

Does anyone know which QPR players were lost to Major League Rugby in the USA this offseason? Harry Higgins at bulldogs has left for Atlanta. It seems like last offseason a bunch of players from QPR left but this offseason MLR has focused more on professional players with international caps.

I did not envision Harry Wilson getting the starting gig on debut. Congrats Whilst he is a marvellous young talent who was NRC player of the year I assumed he was going to have to earn his way into starting spot. Bring on the baptism of fire. Go you young lads!

Imagine the recruiting tool having Brothers play at Nudgee and all those young school boys seeing the butcher stripes dominate on Jack Ross oval. Not that brothers needs to recruit anymore nudgee players... but it would of been cool to potentially see Jack Ross host a QPR & GPS school boy...

Thanks girthbysea. I hope for more renderings of the project as it’s hard to invision this project and how it won’t effect the use of 2 rugby fields with one of the stronger clubs in terms of teams submitted into QRU grades.

So where will brothers play/train whilst they build their new clubhouse? It’s a 18 month job so realistically they’ll only be hindered for one full rugby calendar year.

I think this is a laughable and unreasonable request... You want every team to post training squads on their website? This is grassroots rugby with grassroot IT departments. I think you can hold out another couple of weeks until we see some squads in trial matches
