SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

Tip tackle. First point of contact would have been the head of Paisami hadn’t put his hand down. I’m not really sure what the rule is there. I actually thought the ref was right in that because it wasn’t head first contact it’s only a yellow, but it was quite dangerous and I can understand why...

SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

I dunno. I get that is pragmatic. But winning is a habit. Never give a sucker a break. I get your point they still had to score a try but it gives you a bit more time. To me we’ve played smart all year, but that was a dud call.

I believe the point is having a player who can score three tries to get you over the line in a must win game.

Haha - no, wins are there to be enjoyed.

Congrats. Disappointed to lose tonight, but happy for you. Enjoy next week.

I reckon one of the reasons he makes so many metres is pure fucking frustration.

The big positive there is Koroibete’s work in the pick and go off the back of any forward momentum.

Personally I think Wells has been better than Kemeny though and Nasirani’s star may have faded a little, but he’s still bloody good. Wilkin is a good player - but I agree him getting the nod over Hardwick seems very odd.

SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

On the flip side though this is probably the best Force team they have put out all year. The Force have success when they can make the game a slug fest. They are good at it and have enough strike power to score a few points from crumbs. If they turn it into that sort of game I’d still be...

SRAU RD 10 - Force v Reds Friday 23rd April HBF Park

With the bye last week and next weekend off as well, giving the top strength side a final hit out is the logical pathway. Campbell is our resting an injury. Other than that, all of the selections are justified, IMO. It does seem a bit mystifying that Zander & Blyth have dropped right out of...

    Wallabies 2021

Maybe not - but if you get 1 or 2 injuries in that group he might be a big chance. He’s definitely deserving of a jersey at the moment and part of developing our young players has to be making them earn their jersey.

    Wallabies 2021

According to Rugby Pass Koroibete’s had 3 turnovers this season. If you argued he had a low tackle percentage (60%) maybe you’d have something to work with - but even then I’d argue that there is at least a component there where he misses tackles but forces the players back into the inside defence.

    Wallabies 2021

I think he’s good. Smart player with a good skill level and gets involved. But I wouldn’t have him in front of Koroibete, Wright, Petaia or Daugunu and I think it’s likely Vunivalu will move past him in the next 12 months. At some point you only have so many spots for wingers in your squad. If...

    Wallabies 2021

Because the whole point being made is that despite being at the end of the most limp backline attack Koroibete leads the comp in stats like defenders beaten, offloads, post contact metres, carries and is second in line breaks. He’s outperforming all the other wingers, even though he isn’t...

    Reds 2022

Barring injury it seems pretty good timing to me. 2 yrs in the system behind O’Connor and then hand over. Maybe it would be preferable if Lynagh was 12 months older, but otherwise seems about right.

Sorry - I was making the bad joke that Petaia could fill the 16 jersey.

Sign Uru soon. If he does become a Wallaby his price will jump.
