Wallabies v Springboks Saturday 9th Sept NIB Stadium

RUCK INVOLVEMENTS BY MAIN PLAYER GROUPS Fairly even Attack Ruck Involvements across main player groups. Once again the Wallabies Tight 5 outworked by their opposition. The bulk of Wallabies 'D" Ruck Involvements by the Back Row. Hooper had 33% of the Wallabies DRIs. Jaco...

Wallabies v Springboks Saturday 9th Sept NIB Stadium

WALLABIES V SPRINGBOKS – Perth, 9 Sep 2017 BREAKDOWN & OTHER MATTERS I can enjoy a close game but don’t consider a draw as a good result. The Wallabies should never have lost this game after the score line was Wallabies 20:10 Springboks at 48 minutes. However, the Wallabies looked pedestrian...

    Australian Rugby / RA

There was a lot of discussion during the week - especially within the supporters group - and the love of the game swamped all other feelings. The FORCE chant was used to support the Wallabies when extra effort was needed both in attack and defence. To my knowledge there was no booing of ARU...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

I've given up on the ABC. No longer a trusted source on any subject. But very good at agitprop.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Angry YES. Frustrated NO. We know the door for Super Rugby has been slammed in our face. We don't need any condescending support - perhaps just understanding and patience. Twiggy's motivation is to maintain a professional team in WA to ensure a local pathway for rugby players. Without a...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Can I change 1 item from my post on Friday? I reckon the Men's XV game will be the main game supported by Women's VIIs and Mens VIIs - otherwise it all goes for too long. What a compelling and attractive match day experience to promote the great game of rugby.

Eales was in Perth for a Club Test lunch on Friday. He also presented trophies at the U-age finals at Bayswater RUC on Saturday. Pulver and Ben Whitaker were in town all day Saturday. Clyne flew in only for the Test. Rumour has it that there were 1-on-1 meetings btwn Twiggy/Pulver and...

    Force 2018

Twiggy and Clive have absolutely ZERO in common. Twiggy is a Lifter (Wealth Maker)& Clive is a Leaner (Wealth Taker).

I'm with you Gaffa for the same reasons. Plus I'll add the exorbitant ticket pricing and even worse seat allocations.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

The FTA is likely to come via Kerry Stokes and Channel 7 who has already indicated support of Twiggy's initiative. The big $$s won't be from Oz but more likely from Singapore and Hong Kong/China who are both trying to grow the game.

What rubbish! He's already covered RugbyWA's legal costs to date. Very likely about $0.5 Million.

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Despite the current anger and angst that's been created by the axing of the Force I reckon the development of the Indo-Pacific comp will be something like: Twiggy and others in WA are driven by the desire to maintain a professional team in WA to ensure a pathway to the Wallabies. Without a...

    Force 2018

Many bloggers have raised the issue of why didn't Twiggy Forrest step in to help earlier. Yesterday’s feedback from, Hans Sauer, the President of RugbyWA throws some light on the reasons why: “In March 2016 we notified the ARU we were going to need help at the end of the season. Considering...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

Loving this development. In order to get the Indo-Pacific comp going only the Force will be from Australia AND it WILL be limited to only 6 teams with each playing the others X2. The really exciting development is the game against the "International Team". Can't wait for that announcement and...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Some useful background information/comments supplied by John Edwards, WF Board Member in response to current happenings (this was posted on the TWF supporters blog): “They (EARU – FF (Folau Fainga'a) clarification) are certainly not checking in the rear view mirror. Key take outs for me from the ARU response to...

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

Thanks BH......My error (it was late last night but no excuse :( Comparing the the total tackle count of 108 tackles effective from 140 attempts - 32 tackles missed - 77% effectiveness. Hooper's numbers should be 9 made/6 missed. Numbers now corrected. Apologies MH.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

All Blacks Tight 5 continue to outwork their Wallabies opponents. All Blacks Front Row more prepared to provide their bulk in support of the AB ball carriers. Wallabies Backs always prepared to be available out wide as required. Most of the D Ruck work done by the Wallabies Back...
