Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Nah, the ARU will come up with the coin, that way the tahs won't need to spend too much.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

I don't think the rules really need to be simpler, the referees just need to interpret them consistently. The international refs seem to each have some major issue with the game with which they take issue which are at odds with other referees. The result being that one team can seem to be on...

    Waratahs 2014

    Ah, I see.

    Waratahs 2014

We'll see. I think he's a very good player, and hope that someone in the tahs organisation sees it the same way and gives him some serious game time. What's a bajo?

    Reds 2014

    Wow. Want!!!!!

    Reds 2014

I think he would make a really fine 15, but the only team that could afford to compete with the broncos salary is the waratahs unfortunately.

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

Perfect! It's not a real competition unless there's a team that almost everyone hates (ABSU - anyone but sydney uni) :D If sydney uni get in on their own, this new competition is going to be a roaring success. Thumbs up from me.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

I would like it to be a mandatory yellow card for an infringement whilst under a penalty advantage. Smart teams will invest the time and effort in learning how to defend legally. Cynical teams will end up with 11 players on the field and a multitude of tries scored against them. (It worked...

    Waratahs 2014

Fair enough. I just figured that given his schooling on the coast and uni that he might not have been so hardcore nsw. Hope he does well and gets game time.

    Waratahs 2014

From run on 15 at the Reds, to hopefully maybe one day getting into the matchday 23 for the Tahs??? I don't think it serves Australian rugby any favours having a guy like him who is a run on super rugby level player sitting on the side lines biding his time. Do the ARU have to authorise the...

    Financially benefitting maybe?

    Reds 2014

They have committed to "the scrum" haven't they? Those photos look fantastic, it would be a shame to not have some form of easily recognisable reference to the heroes of rugby - perhaps they could have those images etched into the legs of "the scrum" thingie?

Wallabies to play Great Britain Rugby League team.......... ugh.........

At first glance, it would seem to be exceedingly risky. Short term, reap some serious cash, however there's a significant risk of injury on the wallabies in the line outs, rucks and scrums (?) through poor technique. (and less than a year before a World Cup??? Just look at all the serious...

    Spring Tour Improvements

And of course, the "finer parts" are obviously the reds' parts. :P

    Spring Tour Improvements

Yeah, but the same could be said by most of the tahs (and brumbies) supporters on here with regards to any of their own franchise players, except without the quality analysis and obvious knowledge of the game part (and of course without anywhere near the same effort that he puts in - other than...

    Reds 2014

I love the look of that jersey without the big white square. Hope they stick with that and that it isn't just a one off. Actually, I would also like a much deeper red come to think of it.

    S18 on its way

Thank you, I agree with you on this. I personally prefer the international match ups. I know that does suit the AU teams as they don't get to play each other often. I think that will change with the national 3rd tier comp we hopefully establish, but for now I am happy with seeing a bit less...

    Waratahs 2014

He said that he is no longer in rehab. He said that he felt it wasn't right for him at this point (paraphrasing a bit - can't remember the exact words). He said that he is an adult. Cheika said that he is a rugby coach and he is not going to be a nanny (or some such phrase) and that Beale is...

Is the TMO no longer required?

Hope the upper echelon of power remember that.
