Hey Gnostic correct me if in wrong but Deans selected Gerrard in his wider WC squad but didn't he do a hammy or something?

    Well done Force.

Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

Reds forwards on top after the 1st half. Some steely defence from them. Cruden's kicking game going well with Chiefs playing down the right end. Haven't seen the stats but seemed like a hell of a lot of errors by both sides

Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

Cruden very good in that build up. Anscombe with the nice pass and Aki over for the try. 8-7 Chiefs

Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

#15 for Chiefs is Anscombe. He's been a sharp shooter all year.

Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

TKB is a big loss for them as he does a lot of little stuff in defence that disrupt opposition halfbacks, like timing his run to attack the base, pulling an arm when the ball is out. He's a scrapper. Pulu has a sweet pass but doesn't necessarily bring those other 1%ers. TNW back to the wing...

Was that the only part of the clip you watched?

    April Wallaby 30 Man Squad

    G. Smith has to go back to Japan so that's hardly a criminal offence..... Probably my only question is the selection of Toomane over Mitchell, but still plenty of time for Drew. I reckon some of the new faces are there so Deans and co can see what they're about in terms of responding to team...

    April Wallaby 30 Man Squad

Well look on the bright side he'll be available for QLD at least.... :) I hope Lilo is given the reins to run the backline. I think his play and temperament is not too different to Cruden and Cruden was basically thrown into the deep end early on.

"On form" and "Woodcock" should not be in the same paragraph...... He's been very poor IMO. Elliott's an interesting one, not a regularly starter for the Chiefs.

Hurricanes vs Waratahs Saturday 6th April

There's been a few AB/Samoa connections. Rodney So'oialo's brother played for Manu Samoa. Before the rules restricted int'l representation, Stephen Bachop played for both the ABs and Manu Samoa, while his brother Graeme played for the ABs. Mo Schwalger played for Manu Samoa and his bro...

    FORCE v REBELS R8 2013

I think that is some liberal use of the word inferior Moona.... Both teams looked like they didn't want or know how to win it

    Balancing Your Backrow

My 2 cents worth.... For me it doesn't really matter what number is on their back as long as all the core areas are covered and the players styles and strengths compliment each other. There are obvious situations, you obviously want you're best ball stealer/quickest to be playing on the...

I'd say AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is a certainty. Whether its at centre, wing or fullback, he's too good a player (and experienced) to leave out of a big series vs the Lions, especially when there are question marks over every other backline position except Digby's wing and Genia at 9.

Barbarian is pretty level headed when it comes to some of the rabid provincialism on here. For what it's worth I'd pick Lilo at 10 or 12 doesn't really matter where, he just needs to be out there.

Stormers vs Crusaders Round number 7

Yes there may be a heap of rabid anti-Stormers, pro-Saders there, but by sheer numbers I don't think you're comment is accurate. It is well documented the band of support for the Saders there but the Stormers still take the majority of the cake. With all the omissions from both sides it was a...

    Reds vs Bulls - Rd6

Quirk was a little too eager I'd say to step up with Gill crook. Overplayed at the breakdown and didn't really think about it. Got rightly penalised on several occasions. Thought Cooper looked a little more composed tonight. I didn't mind that 1st 5, Fouche for the Bulls. Doesn't seem to...

    Reds vs Bulls - Rd6

That would help them immensely IMO in defence. In attack however they are likely to play a tighter game committing plenty of numbers to the collisions and bank on frustrating the Reds by starving of possession and forcing them to either tackle all night or overplay by competing for the ball and...

Waratahs vs Cheetahs Super Rugby-R5 2013

Find a new goal kicker so you're not relying a mediocre halfback in McKibbin
