S15R6 Crusaders vs Cheetahs @ New Christchurch Stadium

The word at the mo Ruggo is that it will be the long term home as they just don't know yet if Ami will be able to be restored. I've tried to look for answers about Ami but it seems there's still a lot of assessments & such still going on even now. Didn't get to see the game as I was out but...

    Newcastle Hunter Rugby Union

Uni mens team had a couple of wins & a couple of losses at the Laffan cup 2012. Uni Womens team took out the pre-season 10's comp. Here is an article on the Newcastle rep team below...

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

That's sad news for Dallan, no one wants their debut to be a game to be like that.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

I'll watch a replay but how exactly was Murphy no good in this game, defence was bad I take it? or lack of attack?

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

Just shut the clock off now.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

I was liking that as a bit of tongue in cheek stuff. I thought the scoreline would have been a bit closer. Was out most of the night so hadnt seen this game except last couple of minutes. Anyone who watched the whole game how did Murphy go?

    Rebels v Force - Round 5 - Super Rugby 2012

Agree, good set piece will help but often a team can get away with it being below par or on average. Personally, I find the team that wins the battle of the breakdown is often the winner. But the Force had Pocock doing a mountain of work in that area & did well at the breakdown. So, does that...

    Kaino going to Japan

Can't say I agree with that on Messam, I've had him in my fantasy team & as such have paid close attention to him, he does plenty of carries & makes lots of ground. I do agree however that Vito & Thomson are also right up there as well. Lots of options for the backrow for NZ.

Reds vs Bulls Rnd 5 2012.

I think PB may of thought this meant you were backing the Reds to win by 17.5pts.

    G&GR Fantasy Rugby Competition 2012

Joe Mac I see you have the same idea as me bringing in Dagg & Guildford, I'm hoping they bring up a truck load of points in the next couple of rounds - I need it!

    Tipping the Brumbies by 5.

How does this help Australian Rugby.

Don't know if I'd go as far as unlimited foreigners but I'd certainly have an increase in the current number allowed & I believe Aussie players should be able to play for non-aussie franchises & still be able to be selected for the Wallabies, as long as its Superugby.

    Women's Rugby Union

It doesnt appear the girls from my team that were previously in the Wallaroos are there this year so I am going to try & get info on the local HWRU in regards to previous rep players & the history of the comp. Will post links here.

Has Super Rugby Expanded to Quickly?

Tough one. Re-entering the 'dream state' where all is sorted except where we are playing. With the list of NSW Country areas at the bottom the three that have stadia are Newcastle, Illawarra, Central Coast. I would go for Newcastle (I know, biased but its the biggest country town in NSW &...

Has Super Rugby Expanded to Quickly?

Oh my god me too. I talk about the 'old boys club' mentality of some Rugby organisations in Sydney but this is an example of how its happened in my own backyard. IMO if your in the Shute Shield, regardless of whether you played schoolboys in Sydney or not, your esentially in a position to put...

Has Super Rugby Expanded to Quickly?

Yes, I agree. To go back into fantasy land yet again I always felt that if an ARC national comp is not possible then the next best bet would be to have teams like Newcastle, Illawarra, Central coast, etc enter a team each into the Shute shield. Strengthen the state comps basically. For mine that...

S15R6 Crusaders vs Cheetahs @ New Christchurch Stadium

Very confident my guys will get up in this one. Really looking forward to seeing Carter back out there. However, given the Saders slow starts & the Cheetahs strong starts I wouldnt rule out the Cheetahs going over for the 1st try but in the end I expect the Saders to win by a fair margin.

How does this help Australian Rugby.

Are you saying Connacht gets more foreign players? Because that would make sense given Connacht is in a development stage compared to the other provinces (someone who follows Irish Rugby closely correct me if I'm wrong). I believe eastwoods Tim Donnelly was playing at Connacht & I'm sure thats...

    The Judiciary

Love your signature IS it reminds me of the unofficial defence force slogan "Defence, if we were not a government organisation we'd be closed within a year". Cant say I'm enjoying Fox sports news asking former league players commenting on the Diggers tackle, "oh mate that's not even a penalty...
