2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

People pay good money for that in Amsterdam.

Mate I was just jerking your chain. You're right. The Wallabies do have it in them to lose some games this year. Us Aussies can only hope it is an on year not an off year.

    New Wallabies Jersey?

Changes 'franchises'. I've never cheered another country against Australia in a sporting contest.

    New Wallabies Jersey?

Why is this not a surprise?

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

Thew Zealand rugby team has a great record against us, but still we surprise you one or two times each year. The pleasure is the greatest when you're at your most gormlessly arrogant. Against other teams we have an excellent percentage. Good luck with your predictions. Nonetheless, if you'd...

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

    It's a joke. As sports, fans we're a joke.

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

Well I'm certainly mystified by that paragraph!

    Kiwi orgasmic fantasy.

2012 Rugby Championship Game 1 Australia vs New Zealand - 18 August

It's a funny old thing, the close ones. Lose one, and we bemoan the golden past when Wallaby teams could close them out. Win one, and we bemoan the golden past when Wallaby teams won easily. Winning three close ones is the worst of both worlds. We do like to bemoan a bit, us Wallaby...

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

The value of Luke Burgess is obvious now. If only he could hit his own team's flyhalf.

Replacements aren't necessarily tactical. Genia's durable but he's no more resistant to a broken bone or hyperextension than any other player.

Slim, your team picks have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

And we know how everyone adores a foreign coach.

Tahs hierarchy start falling on their sword. at last

Why should a Reds supporter have such a positive interest in Waratahs board members? Surely the last thing you want is an efficient Waratahs machine?

It's official, David Pocock to the Brumbies

People will always interpret events though the mutual prisms of their sporting allegiances and default personal cynicism.

Wallaby No 10 jersey - Barnes or Cooper?

Or be bracketed with Taps on the bench!

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Shuffling returning players along the bench works fine when you have an injury or two, but if you have injuries to several key players it can turn a short term crisis into a long term disaster. Imagine if you had Horwill, Genia, Cooper and Ioane all fully fit after suffering injuries. You...

I reckon Deans will absolutely drive them into the ground to increase their fitness. He has each year so far.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

Absolutely. Losing to the Abs or the Boks doesn't necessarily mean we played badly. Sometimes we're better. Sometimes they're better. It's the way sport works. So we go away and work on our execution. But we may still not win. We're playing at the pinnacle of world rugby.
