    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Hehehe. Kicking points yes. Field kicking, not so much, certainly much less than a France or an Italy.

    2017 Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Plus obviously McGregor and Maddocks are well known. Hutchison wasn't allowed to play U20s because of the Olympics last year, will Coward (and others?) be held to the same in a non-olympic year?

Lineout wise? Defensively Richie stays at 2, and Jonny shadows the caller. Point being that in the ideal World, with the big bastard interrupting the short ones, and our best pressurising yours, longer throws to weaker jumpers are standard. Consequently, I'd play Fardy, or Mumm at blindside...

    November Internationals not involving Australia

It's much better than the 3 years in advance it was last time. Need 2 from 3 and a good Six Nations. The advantage, I guess, is that there's a significant gap between us, and the next eligible teams in Georgia and Japan, so we can afford to be a bit more risky in the search for points. Plus...

    November Internationals not involving Australia

We need to step up. 2nd ranking is much more important this time around with no chance of Samoa in the mix.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Paullie's 2015 was superior to either of those boys (at tighthead!). But he's regressed to 2013 levels of Chunky in France, no way in hell now.

    Rebels 2017

Kilisimasi Aholelei (Power House), Jeremy Burrill (Melbourne Unicorns), Oisin Clarken (Moorabbin), Richard Clift, Ben Collins, Declan Cox (Melbourne University), Tom Da Forno, Nicholas Donghi (Northern), Austin Faamausili (Endeavour Hills); Dylan Faamausili (Melbourne Unicorns), Vaauli...

    NRC onwards and upwards

They got the "ethnic" crowd back, who I think were off-put by the destruction of the NSL and establishment of Sydney FC, who were very Anglo in marketing and branding AFAIK. Very easy to create natural divides there.

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Don't attack wide when you haven't earned it against us. Between Bennett, Visser, Hogg and Seymour, we get ludicrous numbers of intercept tries. Hard yards up the guts, we've got good cover defence, not so much against big carries. Don't try overly hard to dominate the scrum. Without Nel...

    Rebels 2017

I don't think there's a person here who doesn't think he should be playing at 12. There are a number, myself included, who think he may end up needing to spend some time at 15 or 10, or 13 because our squads spread of experience and/or current ability is concentrated on the wings.

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Gatland stepped down after the June Internationals to focus on BILs duty. He's still got some small involvement, and will be back for November next year, but it's a big big Lions tour, both being New Zealand and potentially the last under the true tour formula, playing well in it is ever so...

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

You guys should have another good win if you keep the team strong. Couple of funny selection decisions going on, particularly a couple of underdone players being picked over form ones, in particular, Hamstrung Duncan Taylor over a Matt Scott who's scoring tries at will. Plus injuries to a...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

I think taking Naivalu over Morahan was maybe a mistake. Not on talent. More for a couple of reasons. First, Morahan has been in excellent overall form. Second, I think Sefa needs a full preseason. The broken leg let him work on his somewhat underdeveloped physicality, and that has improved...

    November Internationals not involving Australia

Notice the pattern though? No games that have RFU, FFR or FIR broadcast rights have been sold, bar the Aussie ones. Clearly they're asking a lot more than the Celtic Nations were, and they only saw value in the Australian games.

Tier 3.5 - An Alternative NRC

AFL State of origin doesn't work because it has 3 states on a relatively similar level, then the rest, and passion only really exist along Vic v SA/WA, not SA v WA.

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

Is the French Barbarians game being broadcast at all, even in France, let alone an English Broadcast?

NH Commentators on average seem better than SH ones. Most of the time that comes down to bog standard turds being preferable to diarrhoea though.

God bless BeIN, and the Celtic Nations. Still missing all the French and English fixtures, but there's another weeks negotiations for those. Too bad about Eagles v Maori and Ireland v All Blacks this weekend though. And Barbarians v Springboks, but that one probably comes under English deals...
