    Returns from injury

Drew Mitchell has said he is targeting the Aus Barbarians vs Canada game as his return. Possibly this game will see some other players returning from injury. When's the WC squad have to be announced by?

    Ben Tapuai

I rate Taps, and I thought his performances in the finals was outstanding. But I still think Harris is above him at the Reds. Wow so much depth!

    Brumbies 2012

I'm suprised that there isn't more Australian players going over there for the ITM. I could think of a fair few Brisbane club players and Super Rugby academy contracted players who'd make it at that level at least. Then again most of them work full time jobs aswell. I also noticed Mark...

    Australian Provincial Rugby Competition

I think the sole reason the Currie Cup and ITM work is because Rugby Union is the top sport in these countries (possibly no.2 in SA), whilst in Australia there is just too much competition from other codes. I can't see it happening anytime in the near future

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

Kepu went to flanker and Cowan to loosehead.

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

I cannot see Drew Mitchell being left on the bench, he is just too good, even if that means re-shuffling the backs (ie: O'Connor to 12). I also think Barnes would be a better option to Giteau and that if we persist with a 5:2 split, it'll be either Hodgson or Robinson there, not Samo.

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

I saw Henriech Brussouw in the stands, would he be fit to play?

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

I'm starting to think Beau Robinson would be a much better bench option then Matt Hodgson. Beau has that impact and mongrel that Hodgson has been missing the last 2 tests

Yeh I thought Simmons was solid, not his best game, but outplayed Sharpe after he came on. On Higginbotham, even though he ended up on the wing, i thought he had a few dynamic runs when he came on, he is very strong in contact, even when caught flat footed

We pushed too many passes in attack.

HOW DARE YOU INSULT KING QUADE!!! hahaha

    Andries Bekker gooooooneeeeeeee.

Big game for Flip Van der Merwe tonight, potential replacement? Now it looks like it'll be Matfield, Botha and Roussouw, but I like the looks of Flip, and with Roussouw potential being a backrow cover on the bench, he could be the reserve lock come WC time.

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Isn't the plan to move KB (Kurtley Beale) or O'Connor to 10 if Quade can't recover. I hope to fuck he does, but in the wet weather I cannot imagine him having the same razzle dazzle effect

    Picking players out of position

The only one I have a problem with is the Kepu/Alexander one

    NZ v Fiji Test 22/Jul/2011

Harsh, but true. When is Boric expected back?

    NZ v Fiji Test 22/Jul/2011

 I'd add Sivivatu to those who've impressed. Williams is a big seagul and I'm suprised this is only the first time I've noticed it.

    NZ v Fiji Test 22/Jul/2011

Yeh Fiji are defending pretty well, but in attack Bai isn't doing anything for them (he usually is 12 not 10), but he is lacking and really explosiveness and creativity that Fiji need. Their big no.4 runs it well. They are nowhere near the level Samoa has risen to recently.

Ugh and I thought watching Australian scrums was painful enough!

I'm keen to see how Hoeata goes, the bloke hits hard. I think Fiji are missing a few regulars.
