    The Friday Quiz

No reds players, since only Quade and Harris kicked this year. Cannot think of any Force players or Tahs players. I'm think it maybe be a Brumbies player....in the centers/fly half

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

I'm not sure where all this has come from, I can only assume it's because Simmons and Vicks offer a lot more grunt work at the breakdown. But I thought that Sharpe was definatly in our top 2 locks. Can't say that we'd lose much with Horwill,Simmons and Vickerman ahead of Sharpe

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

I think he was a given a bit to harsh of a wrap from everyone. He didn't play a good game, or even an average one. But there was far worse players out there than him. I thought he started well in particular.

Should we have a SH 5 Nations?

Yeh I understand what you're saying, but I think Samoa, Fiji and Tonga shouldn't be lowered to playing mid-week games against club sides. Samoa and Fiji in particular have proven themselves over the past 18 months or so that they can challenge top nations. Samoa was very unlucky on their NH tour...

Should we have a SH 5 Nations?

having a combined PI team play on a regular basis will only diminish the development of the 3 nations that it's made of.

Should we have a SH 5 Nations?

If Argentina cannot get ALL their NH players available, I cannot see them lasting long in the tournment.

    Australian U/19 v. England

Ahhh yes my apologies. But that is true, there is a decent amount of teenagers playing premier grade this year, and most playing well consistantly (ie: Felsman, Lucas, Carpenter, O'Hare). Unfourtunatly Stollberg is out for the season, he was playing well for Easts

    Australian U/19 v. England

I'm going to assume you only know mostly QLD players haha. But those players would definatly be the QLDer's in contention.

Should we have a SH 5 Nations?

All these sides would get belted 90% of the time by Aus, SA and NZ I dont see the point just yet

    O'Connor at 12 and McCabe at 13

Well without Drew Mitchell we have no stand out wingers to take O'Connors spot

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Anyone else see that Cooper and O'Connor had a "kick off" at training to see who'd be the place kicker. They tied so O'Connor got it cause he was the incumbent. Not sure why they did this, goal kicking is Quade's most inconsistant attribute.

    Pat McCabe

Taps isnt really our first choice Reds 12 anyway?
  19. tigerland12

    Pat McCabe

Did anyone else notice that more then a few times he was running outside of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)?

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Tom Carter discussion again? If he was good enough he would have been selected, that's pretty much all there is to it.
