    SA vs NZ matches

we'll see after the weekend. You wont have that attitude if the blues get thumped at the breakdon

    Waratahs 2011

Some of the ball spilling from the ruck was the reds fault, mostly via their counter rucking, and we couldn't control it. I thought burgess was not a quick to the Rick as he was against the rebels, and his (or another players) presence to catch or control the ball as it bounced out would have...

    Force vs Sharks - 2011R03

As I said on twitter - sharks should beat the force on paper - lets see if they can do it on grass this weekend

    Pic needs a caption

Having brought down the gazelle, the alpha males feast first before allowing the backs their chance to fight for the leftovers.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

not sure - but that would explain why he tapes over them. imagine the grief he copped at school with nipples for thumbs :) that said, im betting neither of us would say it to his face.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

dont be so harsh on timani -I think he does well for a player without any thumbs, as can be seen from my new avatar photo

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

I hope that if we win this game, we dont face a barrage of "but the crusaders were distracted so it doesn count" nonsense.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

Totally agree on poiint 2 - I suggested this was a risk against the reds but they only tried it once (from memory). On that occasion QC (Quade Cooper) got wedged betweed Mowen and Taf and tried the wendyball dive for a penalty, but there was no one covering the kick, and fortunately for us no one chasing it...

    OK, who's injured?

So he's torn a tendon, and by his own admission "there's a fair bit of damage" however it cant get any worse by training or playing? I'll admit I'm not a medico, but that doesnt sound 100%

    Super Rugby standings

I think it was the Stormers coach who said at the weekend "this is the best start we have ever had to a season - 8 points from 1 game"

Brumbies vs Reds, week 3 2011

Biggest prob from what I saw last 2 weeks with the reds is that this year QC (Quade Cooper) is directing the forwards more, and insisting on continuing one out phase play until he gets a ruck/ball speed/defensive line he likes, and with opposition the refs have played this has been their downfall. Last year if...

Points for MoM would be a good idea

    G&GR Fantasy Super Rugby 2011

I had kade poki on my bench. Listening to too much saffer press I persisted with bjorn basson. His 6 points don't compete with pokis 44. #fuckwit

    The Hickey Must go thread

Without doing my own research, did muggles replace wisemantle? If so, this is an excellent point.

    Waratahs 2011

I discovered too late that new and super dry are available in the members bars. Also, the "make some noise" clips are counteracted by the mid strength beer. Honestly, it's rugby not one day cricket. I think we've proven we can be trusted not to go crazy, yell, fight, or even cheer even with...

    Waratahs 2011

I agree, Dennis and mowen seem to have overtaken mumm in ability and application, which was far from the case even last year. I'd play DD at lock though - at least he has experience there

Waratahs V Reds - Players of the match

Tahs: 3- TPN (a monster) 2- horne 1- Dennis (was maybe more involved than the other forwards) Reds: (not easy) 3- genia 2- horwill (pity he only got a half) 1- higgers
