    Rebels 2022

But obviously it’s a look to the future and it’s a good call, they may not challenge for a senior game for the next few years but if the club can get their development right you have a core of players who playing in Melbourne means something to them. For far too long we have taken prospects from...

Exactly Jordy, Trev and Rob all on the fringes no reason we couldn’t see the day were a third of the side is Victorian

Let’s face it, not many white boys play rugby here and if they do a lot get lost to Aussie Rules. The islander communities in Melbourne are the backbone of rugby here and it’s good to see the investment into the development of these boys so they have an opportunity to go pro

I don’t know why all of you from other states have a need to knock these blokes. Look at how many Vics have come through and done well if the club believes these blokes are ready that’s good enough for me. It also helps build a culture at the Rebels that relying on blow ins will never give us

If you are good enough you are old enough.

Could the go back to Elof at 1 and Pone 3?

Leota would have re-signed as he got out of his French contract

We definitely improved as TT went on.

Xavier Coates is their first marquee signing in more than 10 years. Yeah I don’t agree with them having a Queensland zone both the AFL and Union do a better job trying to grow the game. Look the salary cap well that was shocking I am not even a big storm fan as I always have preferred Union. But...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I am not sure. For the players who have retired it would be a great comp to play in. The salary cap there is only going to grow and they will start getting blokes in their prime

    Aussie Player Exodus

Guys like Gits and ACC probably won’t be on a massive deal. It’s a short season chance for them to play together again and they have already made millions out of the game. Also guys with big names probably get paid for promoting the league

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Yeah the under 20 world champs is one of my favourite events each year. I have missed it big time

    Aussie Player Exodus

Unlikely it’s salary capped at 500k.

    Rebels 2022

To be fair Storm is the best pro side in Melbourne. No AFL club A League club or Rebels are anywhere near them

    Rebels 2022

So many play Union but support league

Personally I would back the kid in the junior wallabies. We still have RPH who can come off the bench and cover at lock or we could bring a back rower on and move Leota to lock

    Australian Rugby / RA

You occasionally get big crowds when a kiwi side comes to town but then it’s mainly away supporters

    Australian Rugby / RA

Lol the ground holds 29k there is no way one in three seats were full. The crowds were disappointing there is no two ways about it, we weren’t helped by the draw so it’s not all the clubs fault more the circumstances of the year
  19. Rebel man

    Australian Rugby / RA

They really haven’t, they have been a massive disappointment I went to every home game and the crowds were poor
