I'm currently studying to be a primary teacher and during the various placements I have ad I have only ever seen League and AFL turn up to sports sessions at school. Sure there isn't much difference at early stages between league & union but at least they are getting out there.

I would love to see more rugby development in state schools. It only really occurs in smaller country towns if there is a teacher who is a rugby tragic. Fortunately my home town had two (one from each high school) and the club's junior ranks were quite successful.
