It would send this forum into meltdown if another Waratah started :)

Kepu got a very good hit on that scrum and was putting big time pressure on Coro. Almost thought Palu was going to fluff it at the back there though.

    Great try JOC (James O'Connor).

Kepu should shore up the scrum. If OZ are any chance they need a Pie here

I blame Deans.... Lilo nails it. Hopefully that will settle the boys a bit.

    Crusaders vs Chiefs

When his confidence is up and he's full of running he's very tough to stop. Was good to see him hit the line off set piece and make good yards.

Surely it's Simmons selection that would be questioned if 3M or Kimlin are the options.

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

JSRF10 - I thought Craig Gower did alright as a test 1st 5 for Italy. Couldn't stand the guy but he was a talented league player that played much of his career as 2nd fiddle to Joey Johns. They were very similar players though, but Johns got first dibs at Origin and Kangaroo jersies.

Well aware thanks Lindo. If I have breached my apologies.

Thanks for posting. Interesting read. What it shows is that if a player doesn't "lawyer up" they could be vulnerable. Found the below interesting and suggests the degree of responsibility and duty of care players have when a player is on the deck. "58. That said, it is axiomatic that if a...

gel I haven't claimed Horwill's innocence or guilt or that he got lucky or was vindicated etc, so not sure where I could've been wrong. My posts have mainly questioned some of the views expressed about the process and the role of the IRB. As I posted earlier I wish Horwill well for the...

It's about due process based on the regulatory framework that they are bound by. Did the IRB come out and say they weren't "happy" or that Horwill deserves a ban and that is why we are apealling? No they didn't. They are able to seek independent review of a decision and they did. There was no...

Just because one of the reviewer's was from a certain country does not mean they are impartial when it comes to administering due process. If there is evidence that this same reviewer has not demonstrated an evenhand approach or has not been fair minded then perhaps he is not impartial. But...

    long term coach?

BUt did move Giggs from the left wing to a more central playmaking role. mmm sounds like JOC (James O'Connor) all over :)

barb, you already started on the pre-game drinks :) It's pretty amazing to see George Smith's name in a Wallabies team again. Thought it would never happen again. Well done that man and well done Robbie. Here's one to mull over, if anyone of 10,11,12,14,15 go down injured Mogg will come on...

I think this possibly points to Mowen covering lock if Douglas is goneski. So a genuine 6/8 cover would be needed late in the game when Simmons runs out of gas. 4. Horwill 5. Simmons 6. Mowen 7. A. Openside 8. Palu 19. McCalman 20. A. Openside

    long term coach?

Comparing a test match against the Lions and the All Blacks is like comparing apples and oranges also :) The All Blacks have taken quite different approaches to strategy and style against different teams. Take the semi vs OZ and the final vs France. From my armchair we kept wnating to spread...

Got any proof of that being the IRB's motivation?
