I think the keys for the Chiefs will be TKB and Cruden. Last time round they missed Messam, he will bring a bit of steel to what has been a very solid defence this year. TKB and Cruden will be given a decent platform to work off. If TKB mucks around with it or Cruden doesn't attack the line...

As Marto pointed out at halftime, and I agree with him, the Reds have really struggled to score tries this year. Their attack has been very disjointed. The forwards and backs aren't linking well like previous seasons. And tonight is no different.

More good attack from the Saders and timid defence from Reds

Ouch. Schatz knocked back in the tackle and then gives away a penalty for not releasing.

Schatz is having a mare. Missed two tackles now, struggled at the back of the scrum and looks out on his feet.

As for the Saders v Canes game, I thought the Saders were trying way too hard in attack to try and score tries off almost every phase. The canes defence was very staunch but we didn't really change things up and play the percentages which we showed in previous games. Saders needed a 4 try BP...

Past seasons mean very little especially the ones where some of the players that run out tomorrow were still in primary school.... The best indicator for what will happen IMO is what has happened this season and the immediate form and health of the players and the overall performance of the two...

I don't have any numbers to back this up, but is based on living in Canberra, Friday night games haven't traditionally pulled crowds (league or union), that's why there's been very few that I can recall.
