Drua at home should pack the house though, you would think, with plenty of Qld based Fijian’s heading along. Should be a cracking atmosphere.

I wouldn’t be against those changes KOB. Or indeed starting with White & Lolesio. An alternative is give Skelton and Latu starting gigs and give them a chance to stake their claim. If Rennie thought they were both good enough for the squad last time then he might want to give them another...

I think we just aim to win. There are enough players in the team who are in the early stages of their career. Winning on UK soil would be good for them. Any other guys who are part of the future will get their chance down the line. Slipper Fainga'a Tupou Philip Rodda Leota Hooper Valetini...

Ikitau has mostly been excellent. The last two weeks he has had a couple of issues - but he hasn’t been terrible. To me, this is all part of his development and yes, sometimes development IS done at test level if you are the best choice for the position. I wouldn’t be disappointed to see...

I’m disappointed in Wright this year. But I thought he was excellent last year. Definitely still needed to work on his defence, but played very strongly in attack. Hopefully he’ll rediscover his mojo. I would prefer they give Daugunu a shot v Wales. And move Kellaway to full back and put Perese...

It is worth noting that Rennie has mostly been using his locks for breakdown work, freeing up others as ball runners. I see the problem more as a group effort than an individual one. So, as a group, they failed to get enough ball in the right areas of the field to get better metres. This, to me...

It’s not going to matter who you play at 10 if the forward pack has a combined total of 55 running meters again.

I don’t really see Philip’s aggression as his selling point though. He’s neither a line bender or a big hitter in defence. What he does bring is a good mix of high involvement, mobility, tackling accuracy, volume of hit ups and generally good maul defence. If anything I wish he’d pull his head...

And I’ll add to what I’ve said previously - Skelton may be in superb form (as evidence by his standing in the French comp) but he doesn’t fit the current configuration or our pack. It doesn’t surprise me he is struggling to have any impact on games and I do agree he is on a hiding to nothing.

in what way would we be foolish. Arnold has been somewhere between passable to good (it’s hard to quantify the importance of his defensive maul work against his lack of contribution in general play). The others have done nothing and they’ve replace players who were at least productive in the...

I think a lot of the criticism of JOC (James O'Connor) is warranted. Which is strange because his best attribute is running the ball at the line and feeding close runners. But at the moment he isn’t doing that. Even when Paisami made his big break yesterday JOC (James O'Connor) sat deep for the next pass instead of taking it...

I kinda get the negativity. Always disappointing to lose. A lot of the criticism is valid. But most/all on here thought we’d get belted before the game and now seem surprised we did. Unless they thought we were going to play really well, but still get pumped. I thought the defence was better...

Reserve Tight head prop though. Second most important player in the team for those of us with long memories.

Agree Pfitzy - isn’t there still a rule about forming a maul and advancing without a defender? Having said that I thought we had enough chances to make the call irrelevant and win. Just a couple of little errors and a bloody determined and tenacious opposition.

I thought Poite got it right. Pretty much every time from memory. There was one I thought he could have let play on because the ball had been hooked back but, in replay, the Scots were definitely getting traction with their second shove. Slipper was getting worked and just couldn’t stay under...

That is a shame - but I’m glad he’s putting his health first. Congrats to him for a fantastic career.

    Wallabies 2021

Unless another fullback was nominated in 2010 surely that answers the question. Lomu was a bit iffy in defence as well. So was Campo. Both undoubtedly World XV in their time.

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

The Wallabies have taken on a lot of the intricacies of the Brumbies line out play and the hooker role has to be across a fairly large play book - not just the line out calls but the phase 1 play after that. I can see where it would take a fair bit more time to get up to speed.
