    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

I'm no lawyer, but if a smoker had started through encouragement from a manufacturer and stayed with that manufacturer throughout and the cancer was attributable to smoking - they'd be successful in suing, wouldn't they? I agree though there is personal responsibility, I don't think it...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

As you say, basic physics. There is never an instantaneous deceleration. What the helmet does is change the rate of deceleration. My Jeep stays intact in many accidents where a Hyundai is crumpled. Despite the "look" you are much safer in the Hyundai.

Wallabies v Springboks II, Allianz Stadium 7:35pm 03/09/22

Just to be clear, I really like Petaia. I just don't think he has the positional and organisational skills required at full back fully developed right now.

Wallabies v Springboks II, Allianz Stadium 7:35pm 03/09/22

Is it a suggestion that Petaia should remain high on the list for fullback? I hadn't thought it an outrageous claim.

Wallabies v Springboks II, Allianz Stadium 7:35pm 03/09/22

IMO Petaia and Wright have fallen off he 15 list and now chase 14.

Wallabies v Springboks II, Allianz Stadium 7:35pm 03/09/22

There are currently only two main contenders to 15. Hodge and Kellaway. Petaia and Wright have had the opportunity and proven to be better suited to 14. I don't think Jock is as far off as you are suggesting. But I doubt it will be during the Championship.

I'd suggest he has to bide his time.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

My starting position is still that he is there due to injuries and not our ideal starting 15. BUT we have been seriously pushed around by not being solid at the back. Until Hodge came in. I'd love to see Jock Campbell get a shot but there is no way I'd be doing that right now, nor against the...

I would have been happy if he went the other way. Once cognition caught up that he had been slapped in the face, stop, ask the ref if he is going to do something. Make it obvious. Curling up on the ground is BS.

TRC 2022: All Blacks v Argentina

To put things in context: a) there is a big gap between 3-South Africa and 2-France b) there is even a bigger gap between 6-Australia and 5-New Zealand c) Worrying for NZ is that Argentina are close to Australia. Very close. Only 1/100 th of a point difference. The rankings add real interest...

Completely. And on this occasion straight out of the Three Stooges.

That difference right there. THAT should be the benchmark for whether or not it constitutes taking a dive. I'm holding my position here. No room for it.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

Agree SMI. Especially when you compare to the Boks, my God they have power in the locks if they can perform in a test. Our guys? Let's run 4 locks with no-one playing for more than 50 min. They've got a much better chance at hi muscle over shortened duration. Arnold fits from the bench as the...

Completely agree. I don't think we need the extra loosie but extra horsepower in the engine room could be very valuable.

Yes Tupou gave a way a penalty. The big difference in penalty count though, that came from Slipper who is credited with 5 penalties. Do you think we should move him on? Massive risk there.

    Wallabies 2023

I'm completely on board with McKellar (though to be convinced of future WB HC role) and Fisher. Even think the background together at the Brumbies is a positive. Being in that situation is still odd, but agree it is good. From there though, selecting the "best" person interviewed at lunch time...

So what the slo mo shows is that you had to be really creative to find a still to present what you wanted. 10/10 for effort dude.
