OK, let's find some possession on the other side of the half way line.

OK TT. We are on the run in to a test where Gordon is playing. It's time to wind your neck in for a couple of hours.

TRC 2022: All Blacks v Argentina

I'm not sure that Foster would be welcoming rain, but I suspect Cheka might see it as an opportunity.

Maybe Maybe. Wet weather works to the Boks traditional strengths and game plan, and works against flamboyance. Turf surface settles scrums a touch, and as qwerty has said puts more pressure on the maul. Last week the Boks didn't have trouble implementing their game plan, so assistance from...

I don't know whether to see the turf as de-powering the scrum to our benefit, or simply a danger to the front row. What is this ref's reputation like for adjudicating scrums? Edit: We have the same guy as last week? Works for me but we better have our discipline dialled in.

Cheers and yes, Nick is fabulous. have to agreee we can use some more horsepower in the locks, but I'd look to two locks on the bench. We did get go ahead last test, better than we've had. I'd focus on the set piece I reckon.

More than that, if the article that stillmissit refers to is Nick Bishop's latest: a) no-one did better including Phillip calling to himself b) the ref allowed the Boks to close the gap after initial set up which allows the defensive jumper to get an arm in between the catchers arms to spoil the...

Yes, sort of. Rennie has said that he sees both Hooper and McReight as specialist 7s and won't start them from the bench. Things do change, but based on this "proof" over the better claim comes from where "form" is a combination of history and training. I'd agree that Hooper slots straight in...

His role as a loose forward coming off the bench completely is the same as being back up 7 to McReight - if Hooper isn't available. I don't see the problem even though I agree that I wouldn't generally choose to start Samu at 7.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

Rule 10, buddy. 10. If another poster does not understand or agree with your point after 3 or 4 attempts, LET IT GO, WALK AWAY. It is very boring for other posters when the thread gets hijacked by two people having an argument.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

It also makes the transition to something better, even something radical, comparatively easy. Speaking commercially. I really hope that the NZR "giving in" to a 50/50 take (on a 50/50 comp) for the $2.50 component, does not in itself swing this back to a TT comp with no domestic champion...

Great to see this sort of consistency. Still, I thought Kellaway might have made the 23, and I'd have 2 locks on the bench rather than 2 loosies. Also given our capitulation in the last 10. This is excellent stability, particularly compared to the Boks. At a SFS sell out. Looking forward to it.
