    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

I believe all the set pieces are the same. Scrum, lineout, haka.

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

Thats more like it! Higgenbotham! The first half got a bit error prone, but they were at least tighter in the second half and while it wasn't pretty they got there. As Barnes is saying, the forwards went all right

19-15 thanks to barnes dropgoal. a minute or two to go.

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

The fact some haven't played a match for months as individuals let alone as a team is probably not helping. nice little passage.

    Wow, thats challenging.

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Ben Youngs will be salivating at the thought of sniping around the base of the scrum while our 6, 7, and 8 are head down, bum up and minds on the alleged comments from an unnamed scrum coach after the Wales game. Genia is going to have to be on his toes.

Fainga'a would be a perfectly adequate backup if the scrum was going well. It's not, he is part of the problem but but not the whole problem. I'm not prepared to scapegoat Fainga'a for the lack of cohesion and structure in the scrum. As for the rest - he is considerably more agile than turtle...

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

Yeah, maybe my way of saying who cares, he's injured and by the time he's not someone else will be was a little longwinded. Still, Pato apparently has the pigs well in hand (?) (thank you Gnostic). I think our coaches should use their free time to keep an eye on @giteau_rugby and try to prevent...

TPN could cover prop and hooker;)

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

And the ref, as we saw in HK. The other thing that evolves is the laws of the game and interpretations of same. Crouch, touch, pause, ____ , engage. We really got in a muddle in HK with the cadence, and we were still very hesitant vs Wales. It may or may not be a policy decision from Paddy...

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

I think it's around 5:30 Wed morning, though I'm not sure if its EDST or PQT (proper Qld Time). Theres a thread with a few of us in the same position - trying to find a stream.

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

Whats new? I admit sometimes Gits runs to the sideline and kind of drops the ball in the general direction of other players, but at the moment he is so busy trying to beat the defense by running at the corner flag, or giving up and kicking, that you could stand Maafu there without doing anything...

    TPN being flown to Europe

TPN is great, but I think the problem is more than the individuals. Apparently they're being coached to fail.

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

Unfortunately his performances in the wallabies jumper this year were pretty forgettable.

Ioane - Where Does He Fit In?

The beauty of Ioane is that he doesn't even require gaps. Like no other Oz back he gets across the advantage line against a set defense, when there is no gap. Mitchell and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) I think are going really well and are strong in contact, but Ioane breaks tackles in traffic and that loopy gallop is...

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Slipper is going well, but I just have this niggling concern that starting against the Poms is a bit make or (literally) break for him. I guess if Moore is back, and there is some sort of plan to involve the rest of the pack in the scrums, it might just be make....

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

I thought that between handling errors, poor option taking and his continuing inability to find holes as a runner he got in the way of any useful attack and that he has taken to darting up out of the line in defense creating gaps. A new low in a pretty ordinary season. If he is picked for this...

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

Kaplan, then Joubert on the weekend. The permutations are endless. Interesting that Slipper is starting over Daley. I was both hoping and fearing Giteau would be running on (as 10). Hoping for what it means for the weekend against the poms, fearing for the midweek backline. Gits is has moved...

Wales vs Australia, EOYT 2010, Millenium Stadium

QC (Quade Cooper) was minutely better - he made a couple of low tackles quite well, and ripped the ball from runners a couple of times in the tackle. Still not able to pull off a dominant tackle on .... anyone.

Wales vs Australia, EOYT 2010, Millenium Stadium

Winning two in a row is a step forward. I didn't see General Noriega in the stands with JW and RD - maybe he just couldn't watch. You wonder what they can do in a week, though getting Moore back in and getting the pack to push might help. Meerkats, that was a nice analogy.
