    G&GR Fantasy Rugby Competition 2012

Maybe one of our SA brethren can inform us, but I thought Lambie was injured as well.

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

Pocock as skipper is starting to impress me. I haven't been sold on him as a captain until recently. He builds pressure by opting for points wherever he can get them. Scrappy game overall, but another true test match. Test matches aren't supposed to be floggings, they are supposed to be close...

G&GR Wallaby Player of the Year: v WAL (3rd test)

3 Sharpe 2 Barnes 1 McCabe (although he went off at half time, he was a monster before he broke his snoz).

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

I think that is a bit harsh, and quite uncalled for, considering we play the Darkness and Boks every year. I also think that our team isn't stacked with saints either.
  5. The Red Baron

    Wallabies versus Wales- SFS

Sharpe and Poey are playing like men possessed. McCabe hasn't put a foot wrong so far. Wales have shown up to play again. The game has been quite scrappy so far though.

Welcome aboard cyRil. I would suggest that you speak to Stu regarding Delve. That man is all over anything to do with Delve and the Rebels! As for making new posts, I think the mods are better positioned to inform you than I am. I have no idea of the rules regarding forum creation!

    New Zealand vs Ireland

I was wondering the same thing. Manu has been excellent for the past few seasons now, surely he would be banging down the door? Having Cruden at 1st five might help with Sonny Bills game. Although he has been solid in the first couple of tests, the Irish have really shut him down well. Having...

    Waratahs - Positivity thread

ET is on the male personality list eh? I wonder if his wife will vote for him...

    Western Force 2013

I was going to say the exact same thing.

    Byrnes gets 10 Weeks

Nice one Slim, now the festering sore has opened up again! Reminds me of a movie I once watched a a kid; it was called 'The Neverending Story'.

    Our "JFK" Moment

I was on the front lawn of the Courthouse Hotel in Cairns watching the big screen, screaming my lungs out with all of the Barron Trinity boys. It was even sweeter because my flat mate at the time was a Kiwi.

G&GR Wallaby Player of the Year: v WAL (2st test)

    3 Barnes 2 Pocock 1 Diggers

Wallabies vs Wales - Docklands Stadium June 16

I think that Barnes is having a good game. Maybe his wife should have a kid every week . Pocock is all over the breakdown again. He has Warburtons measure, so far. After a poor start the forwards finally got a roll on and the team has been able to build some pressure. Silly...

    New Zealand vs Ireland

I try not to let him get to me nowadays. I actually thought he did quite well to force the penalty there. That was a cracking first half. The Blacks seemed to have the better of the Irish in the latter stages of the half. However, the Irish defence has been their match so far.
  15. The Red Baron

    New Zealand vs Ireland

O'Brien and Best are real pests at the breakdown. The All Blacks are having a hard time getting over the advantage line. I wonder if the Blacks are biding their time, waiting for Ireland to tire?
  16. The Red Baron

    New Zealand vs Ireland

After a Dan Carter penalty it's 10-3 to Ireland. NZ restarts have been really good.
  17. The Red Baron

    New Zealand vs Ireland

Sextons clearing kick earlier on when the Irish were under pressure was top shelf.
  18. The Red Baron

    New Zealand vs Ireland

This will be a cracker of a game if Ireland can keep up their intensity.
  19. The Red Baron

    New Zealand vs Ireland

oh gee, Ireland have really turned up to play so far. Good try to Murray.

Love your work Bardon. Always insightful and entertaining. When people are asked if they could invite anyone to a dinner party, who would it be? You always hear about people wanting to invite the Queen, Barack Obama, blah blah. Bollocks to that I say! I would be having Lee, Bardon and Paarl...
