Have always thought that State High have had worst of the draw over the past few years, NC followed by TSS, think GT have definitely benefited from having them next. Last year they were 0/3 and finished the season quite well considering their start.

The biggest concern would have been his recurring Achilles problems , rather than his rugby ability. He might need a season to prove it isn’t going to be an ongoing issue.

I've always thought it would be a great to see what would happen to coaches starting games with uncontested scrums if the opposing team then got to choose who had to stand in the scrum from that team. Have seen it too many times where junior coaches want good ball for their star outside backs...

Same thing last year with UQ v GPS three games in 4 weeks , GPS won the only one that really mattered.

He had his first start in Prems for UQ in quite a while against Brothers, unfortunately did his hamstring during the game, not sure how long he might be out for. Has spent the majority of the season out injured .

^ They managed to beat TSS playing exactly that in 2017, in fact they were the only team that went close to what should have been an undefeated premiership for TSS.

The game the RL Schoolboys play is during the Sept school holidays , but think they have a series of camps leading into it. Don't know when the camps are on , but yes have heard they will miss 3 games.
