^Interesting how bogey teams have seemed to develop for TSS and BBC in the last few years. IGS were the only blemish on TSS’s 2017 season and denied them a stand alone premiership, nearly derailed them last year when nobody gave them a chance and yesterday’s draw was quite unbelievable with...

The timing of the MOU signing also well before Izzy’s final Instagram transgression. Can’t blame Izzy for everything.

So what if you think the Reds/RA couldn’t match the offer already on the table , isn’t it the job a an agent to ask? Not only that , but Samu was worth way more after the Super Rugby season, he was one of the best running around . What would he be worth with a dominant RWC behind him? Do you really...

You definitely get the feeling that is the case. No doubt Kerevi cares deeply about the Reds, have heard he has mentioned his locker space is only on loan. He seems genuinely sad to leave, but he is leaving. If the deal was done before the Reds/RA had a realistic chance to make a counter...

^^ But then again , don’t need to be a player’s agent to push school age kid’s interests. Happens on this site occasionally, maybe even player’s agent’s interests get pushed ?

No I understand the role, what I’m sugggesting is for the majority of school age players it makes very little difference and can even be detrimental. Every franchise has a development officer, nothing to stop a parent/guardian/mentor or significant other making contact and testing the waters...

The reality is that by far the majority of contracts offered to school age players are nothing more than development contracts. They are very standard and like for like amongst franchises. Being shopped around for a better deal at this stage and level does very little for your long term career...

Couldn’t agree more . These young lads need a balanced outlook of life , not someone blowing wind up their arses and telling them how great it’s going to be . How many Aussie Schoolboys have never made it to professional rugby? Where are the agents when the wheels fall off and the black...

On another note , how fucking annoying are the spam posts? My work computer keeps shutting down the site once the porn spam is posted. At least I know something I’m paying my IT guy for works .

Does anyone know if managers also get a signing fee for one of their players heading off to a new club/franchise? I’m sure there are plenty of good managers that have their talent’s best interest at heart, but unfortunately they are not the ones getting media attention.

^ Not missing much with the centre combination there Jets. Fraser runs like a 12 and Harry very familiar with standing in the centres, like most 6/8's he thinks he is really a 13. :)

^You may not buy it , but have seen it time and time again where the best of the U13/14 Qld Country teams end up parked in a GPS boarding house come year 10.

Assuming Rugby Xplorer is correct... BBC have scored 237 points in 6 games , meaning 39.5 points per game . TSS have scored 358 points in 7 games , that’s a bit over 51 points a game. Quite a season from them .

Think Darvo aka The King said during the match that TSS needed to put on mid 50’s in the last two games to break the points record , somewhere around 54 points. One box ticked today for that stat , certainly can see them doing it again against IGS . The TSS set piece is top shelf , well done .

    Lucas at 10 a pointer for 2020?

Meant to also say , yes agree both have had very good seasons. Jock’s work rate is terrific and tall enough to be a genuine line out target. Titi is great in contact in both attack and defence, pulled off a couple of bone rattlers playing for Qld U18 back at the end of June .

Interesting Jock was at TSS up until this year, wonder how he feels about his old school mate’s likely GPS premiership now he is at the north end of the M1?

    QLD Teams 2019

Agree with some of what you have said , Harry has the skills , but the breakdown has never been his primary focus, you could say even coached that way. He will develop them soon enough if that is identified as a major focus. But yes agree , if he plays the same way , the team needs the...

^given the last two years, IGS v TSS could cause a few butterflies for the TSS supporters. IGS play loose , unstructured rugby and teams tend to start playing that way against them in the heat of battle, probably because they opportunities to play wide, which plays into what they are good at...
