    Reds 2013

Shatz is a hard worker, but not a big player to take the ball up. In some ways the 8 is the leader of the forward pack. But he needs to have sp0eed as well. He's a big No 7. so

    Reds 2013

Who will step up to be the No 8? Just as Higgers was fitting into that role nicely, we lose him. Many of the other Super 15 sides have strong No 8's It's a position we seem to have a serious dearth in. And please don't say Shatz; he's a 6, not an 8.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

To my thinking, the training camp is there to maintain fitness (not to get it), but just as importantly to have a number of fringe players ready to step up, and to be familiar with the wallabies moves. The fringe players are also given motivation to maintain a high level of fitness on returning...

    QF1 2012 - Reds vs Sharks

it was really good that the Sharks defence line was never off side. I mean, if they had of been, the ref would have penalised them, wouldn't he? Wouldn't he?

In that case we'll put up some portable 'loos for them behind their goal posts.

    How long will Quade get?

If Cooper appeals, the size of this thread will be like comparing the Titanic to a tug boat (Carter v Byrnes)

    How long will Quade get?

Slim, there's a subtlety to your recent posts I can't pick up. I never was a prop (proponents of innermost knowledge and beer brands)

    How long will Quade get?

I thought he hit the back of his head on the ground when he fell. Most of Cooper's impact was from his left shoulder on Barnes upper body causing him to topple backwards with Cooper on top of him.

    Wallabies 2012 Championship Squad

There is a chance Horwill might make the European tour at year end. I suspect with a long Rugby Chamionship, there will be a fair bit of attrition, and that fringe players not selected in the squad should keep their studs sharpened.

    How long will Quade get?

The arm is actually on the shoulder, not over it, which I believe means the neck and higher.

    How long will Quade get?

That is where you are totally wrong. His arm/hand never went above the top of the shoulder.

    How long will Quade get?

What bemuses me is that the judiciary will make a decision within 24 hours of now, but that this thread will be still at it in a week's time.

    QF1 2012 - Reds vs Sharks

The interesting aspect to the last time the Reds played the Sharks in week 4, the Reds were ahead 17 - 0, totally outplaying the Sharks. Then came the flyhalf injuries to Lucas & Harris, & Ioane's yellow card, and so the Reds lost 27-22. So welcome to the Suncorp cauldron Sharks, 'cause its...

    QF1 2012 - Reds vs Sharks

Not only did they get 3 sides in, but 'pole position' as well Ah, but wait a minute, their conference includes the the Lions & Cheetahs , two 'ínferior' teams. So really the whole S15 system is so totally unfair to the NZ conference, because all their five teams are so superior:p

    How long will Quade get?

If you look at QC (Quade Cooper)'s right arm, it is actually over BB's shoulder, & not around his neck. The rest of the tackle is QC (Quade Cooper)'s body pushing back BB's body so that he lands on top of him. I can't see any actual tackle on the neck - so how can it be construed as dangerous? He shouldn't have even got a...

    Reds v Waratahs Rd 18 2012

Winning games is very much about attitude. I believe the Reds attitude to win this game is significently greater than the Waratahs, who are only trying to prevent a whitewash of losses. The Reds will give it everything over the last quarter, but need to have two tries to their credit in the...

    Qld Rugby Club - Gone

How tragic that the QRUC has gone into liquidation. I have been a member there for a long, long time and am very saddened. In better times, the amount of money year after year it gave to Queensland Rugby Union, I'd have thought the latter might have tried to help them out. Maybe they have tried...
