I think this is good, but you really do need a Melbourne team, and even a Perth team. with those teams having a bit of extra cash to get a few good players from NZ & SA.

It seems that the first trial game is been used by the coaches to give the newbies a run. The second week will probably see the more regular players in with the more successful newbies. Of course there is always some exceptions.
