Nah, he’ll see the RWC through… His future beyond that depends on next years results, but I’d say most likely his contract won’t be renewed.

She’s not suggesting that at all… simply highlighting they already have a good relationship. He’s only an option if the Kiwis pass on him again.

Wallabies 2023 World Cup Positivity Thread

Some positivity from the Spring Tour... Nick Frost and Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase)... These guys are nailed on starters going forward.

It was the Wallabies’ third Tri-Nations win… They won back to back in 2000 and 2001.

Actually, I'll add Holloway to that shortlist too. I expect him to retain the 6 jersey, which will also provide some flexibility if Skelton is in the 23.

Certainly the two biggest winners from this tour were Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) and Frost... There's so much competition for locks going into next year, but I think Frost may have booked his spot with his performances against Ireland, France and Wales.

    Wallabies 2023

I don't see Hanigan making the cut... Holloway, Leota and potentially Swinton if fit would have to be the front runners at 6.

    Wallabies 2023

I actually think Foketi is now ahead of Paisami as the backup 12 to Kerevi...

    Wallabies 2023

I'd say that's a pretty close shortlist, but I would bet on Tom Wright being there ahead of at least Campbell.

I think Leota might struggle to retain his starting spot as Holloway has improved on this tour, and he's done well running the lineout...

Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) has really come along this tour... Imagine if we were able to field him, Ikitau, Kerevi and Koroibete in the same game? Christ... I could coach that backline. Samu and Lonergan were both really strong off the bench. Frost is another player whose standings has risen on this tour...

Yep… And I predict RA to announce that in a RWC year all players are eligible for selection… And then again in 2025 for a Lions series.

Some potential insight into why there's so many injuries... https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/raw-wallabies-side-could-leave-dave-rennie-on-the-brink-20221125-p5c181.html

It's been mentioned a few times now, but it's based on how well the three of them worked as a unit last week... I don't think there was any surprises in selection there for that reason.

Gordon however is a strange one to stick to... If they were somewhat serious about cracking down on serial offenders, he wouldn't be near the team after a series of costly penalties he's personally responsible for in the last two tests.

Nah, after the positive showing of our back 3 last week there was no chance for Campbell coming back in. https://www.theroar.com.au/2022/11/23/analysis-green-shoots-emerge-on-wallabies-spring-tour-including-a-successor-to-israel-folau/

We've got scrumhalf coverage if Gordon or McDermott comes down... https://www.instagram.com/p/ClUU3B8hw2G/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=2b471771-b365-4848-9a13-d8d3650bc574 Meets all of the selection criteria, and would be a huge improvement on Gordon...
