Pretty hard to do that when their man of the match lock is playing for the opposition.

I think there was maybe one other turnover early when gamble or vailanu got over on the tahs line. There were plenty of attempts otherwise but timing was way out and they were late or blasted off the ball.

Paisami flattened him for that try that was disallowed.

Easy to see why Fourie did well - it was a good night to be a Queenslander ;)

Great hit out for the Reds, very impressed with how we held our shape in both attack and defence over the 80 with plenty of changes. Scrum needs some work but there are options there. A little worried we were never challenged with ball in hand, there wasn't much requirement to play territory or...

Gordon's slow start last year was a big part of the tahs issues in the early season, even if Donaldson's equally poor form meant it didn't get as much notice. If he starts slow again this year it might be Coleman that wears the consequences.

Just In fairness I'm Eddie was at Narrabri last year and I'm pretty sure he wasn't the only RA representation

Petaia with another great kick. Would've been a 50/22 if not taken back

Scrum rumbling now, I'd love to put it down to Nasser but I think the tahs might just be wiped

Probably time to sub Tate, he's been great tonight but doesn't need to be out there any longer

Not blaming Faessler, but Nasser is a better scrummager at hooker and he's the most impactful change we could make.

Scrum not quite what it was last week though. I'd like to see Nasser on to stabilise it

I reckon Hilton and Fisher are very happy with themselves right now, pack looking like a complete unit even with the changes

The mail has been delicious tonight, even with that turnover

Such a big boot Petaia, it's good to see him putting it to work more and more

Tv has been fine again since the start of this half of you want to go back to the big screen

I doubt Les Kiss will feel too bound by the decisions of the past once the season gets going. Playing him as much as possible now to find the form given the potential he has, but that doesn't guarantee a start come round 1.

Yeah, I thought his run in the first half was an improvement, knowing to track in and find his support, but overall he's struggling and doesn't look to be clicking like the rest are
