Re the Joeys squad, I recall watching Paddy Dalton had a cracking game in the 2nds against Barker and noted that he would walk into a CAS squad. Nice to see he has been promoted. There are actually a few changes in the Joeys 1st XV from the team that played Barker. Also promoted from the 2nds...

For those that maybe interested, young Jayden Kitchener, the Barker No 10 injured in the Joey's match, left hospital yesterday evening. He was ok apparently. No word on his likely return to rugby.

Barker v St Joseph’s I popped up to Barker to watch what I was expecting to be a white wash. The GPS thread has Joey’s as a real contender this year while Barker must rebuild from being at the bottom of the CAS ladder in 2015. The 2nds showed spirit but lost 50/7 with Joey’s no 7 Paddy Dalton a...

I will do a write up of the Joeys v Barker match tomorrow. Lots of positives from a Barker perspective despite the sorry scoreline. And for "William" both Reimer and Tejcek played well. Joeys were just to big, strong and fast.

Yes he did play. The backs lacked a bit of continuity. A bit to much, stop catch pass about them. It is expected at this time of the year. That said the half backs for both teams did nothing wrong. The poor old Radford half did not get much protection from his forwards. David played ok though.

Barker v Radford Trial Match I zipped up to Hornsby to watch the Reds in their first trial match against Radford form Canberra. The temp peaked at 33 deg so the 4 quarter game was going to be testing. Radford were at a distinct disadvantage with around 20 players in their squad while Barkers...

I concur with MOM going to Butler (Knox9). He had a very busy day not only in the set piece but also at the breakdown, with the Knox backrow creating a lot of turnovers. The backs cannot be over looked either with Williams, Armstrong and Stenning very dominant in the tackle. Barker were game...
