    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I like the team. The only change I would have made would be to drop Dennis and bring in Gill or McCalman. I don't know what it is that coaches see in Dennis that makes him get selected. Hopefully next year with Higgers back Dennis will drop out of contention once and for all. If our forwards...

    RWC 2015 Pools

man our draw sucks balls. Seriously if we don't win our pool we can kiss goodbye to the Cup. On the flip side if we do manage to beat England and Wales back-to-back you'd expect us to make it through to the final (and deservedly so).

Not bad. Would have liked to have seen a few more players named Jones and Williams

    Ireland vs All Blacks

Finally watched this game last night. Knowing the Kiwis were going to win I was still astounded to see the Irish throw it away at the end. This win was deja vu for me having watched the NZ v England in the League WC on Saturday night. The end was virtually identical. It is an impressive trait...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I think this in a very important game for us. Confidence can play a big role in a team's success, and in this regard we don't want the Welsh getting their tails up too much before the WC. This could be our last outing against them before 2015 and it would be nice to keep our unbeaten record...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

With respect, I disagree with most of that paragraph. If I could perhaps address each of your assertions separately. 1. Because he played much better than Lilo on Saturday Did he play much better? Kicking aside, Lilo didn't seem to see much ball. I don't remember Harris doing that much...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Why choose Harris at inside centre over Lilo? Lilo did quite a good job for us at 12 earlier this year. Yes he had a shocker with the boot on the weekend, but it happens to the best of them. Also he's not a natural 13 so it's a bit hard to hold his performance against him. Harris on the...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

a few thoughts on the game. - not a great performance, but not too bad. I thought the defense was generally good; well organised and we continued to come up and tackle the scots behind the gainline. - We were too slow to react to the Refs wishes at the breakdown. A better team would have...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

this game has banana peel written all over it. Despite the disruptions I'm hoping the wobs continue their upward trend and score some tries.

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

I think its worth pointing out that most people generally gave Deans the benefit of the doubt regarding his selections for about 2 or 3 seasons. His selections at the world cup upset a lot of us, and by years 4 and 5, he was constantly lampooned. There does appear to be some logic in the...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

Kind of agree. Can anyone explain why Harris was picked? we didn't need another kicker with Cooper and Lilo both in the squad

Its a shame To'omua is out but We dont lose too much with Lilo.

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

I don't think the Scots are particularly strong in that area and if they are going to win this game I doubt they'll be spreading it wide too often.

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

To be honest I thought the Kuridrani tackle was a bit reckless and my first impression was probably 2 weeks. The IRB usually come down hard on players for those "tip tackles" which can result in a neck injury, and tend to try to make an example of players despite the fact that no one is hurt...

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

Aside from being a team leader (or at least one of the more experienced players that should lead by example) AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was also in the run on side, unlike the other players (cummins aside).

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

This is one of those 6 of one, half dozen of the other issues. I think everyone agrees with Links decision in suspending and yes these guys are professionals getting paid a lot of money. At the same time this is rugby tour. They were traditionally was all about team bonding, including many...

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

True Deans did lose control of his group. that's not what cost him his job though. It was the shit poor performances of his team. the two are possibly interrelated.

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

I must admit it is hard for a young bloke who is travelling through the UK with his mates not to enjoy the local scenery every now and then. If I was over there for work Id be doing the same. to be honest, the only reason im not drunk right now is its a Monday...and Ewen wont let me drink on Mondays

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

I'm assuming the players that were in the 23 that were drinking were suspended. I'm guessing the ones who got written warnings were as guilty as the suspended players, but as they were not scheduled to play it was seen as less serious. The verbal warning were probably for being out too late...
