    Cheetahs vs Waratahs - 2011R05

Yup, it was a moral victory oops I mean draw. Most honest Tah supporters were pretty much chuffed with the Tahs performance afterwards, the Tahs were so overwhelming in the first 20 that the rest of the game, and the scoreline, didn't count.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

Yep. There was enough classic Cooper inconsistency scattered amongst a pretty good kicking game to make Harris look very very good.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

Meh IMO the machismo around scrums can exceed their contribution to the end result. We get so sensitive about our scrum, including the EOYT game against the poms, that we downplay other forward battles, to our cost. Getting your ball back on your feed is vital and the Reds have been consistent...

    Reds v Rebels MOM

Reds, enough contributors that the following is a bit random. 3. James Slipper. Mountain of work. 2. Leroy Houston. Best game for ages, great hands. 1. Mike Harris. Sorry Coops, Faingles, Taps. He has an Aussie grandma! Rebels - back to the rabbles. 3. Lachlan Mitchell 2. Cooper Vuna 1. I...

    Waratahs 2011

He (Horne) certainly had a good pair of games.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

I agree, the Reds were barely seen at scrum time last week.

    Reds vs Rebels - 2011R05

Heres the Australian hinting that Ioane will be 13, while the Courier has earmarked Tapuai.

    Nathan Sharpe

:rolleyes:Needs tutelage from Quade Cooper on how to negotiate. Loyalty is not a big earner. Though I imagine his move to the Force from the Reds was financially advantageous......

    Brumbies MOM v Crusaders

That is harsh on Slipper and IMO a gross oversimplification. A stable scrum is good, sure. If we stabilise the scrum but get our butts kicked at the breakdown, miss or fail to make dominant tackles, we will get thrashed. Our scrum wasn't the problem v. England on the EOYT. Flying Palmer over...

    The hidden Truth .

Applying Occam's razor..... 1) Gladiator thinks Gits is a good 10 2) AFAIK, the only one in the universe that thinks Gits is a good 10 is Gits, though I may have to broaden that to Bernie and a Bundaberg born League player/coach. The hypothesis that makes the fewest new assumptions is that...

    The hidden Truth .

I can't condone Gits getting stoned before a game, talking himself up at GAGR, then not backing it up on the field. Even if it's his first post.

    Brumbies 2011

This is only one of the brumbies problems, but it is pissing me off. We saw Giteau struggling at 10. Deans saw Giteau struggling at 10. The whole world saw Giteau struggling at 10. He looks good at 12. He makes inroads from 12. On the rare opinion he ends up at 12 for the Brumbies the backline...

    Brumbies v. Crusaders - 2011R04

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s great upper body strength comes to naught up against Fruen. Could not fend him off. SBW is going from strength to strength. He is really functioning well as a second 5, and makes some monstrous plays that just fracture the opposition.

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

I just don't understand why Mortlock isn't out there with Latho and Gregan.

Is Link's calculated approach hindering Coopers development?

Circular argument. People see him fall off tackles and don't give him MOTM. Doesn't mean they don't think his attack is worthwhile. Sadly for us there are more than three players in a rugby side, and a couple of them (9 and 10) are instrumental to 11 through 15 seeing the ball and winning MOTM...

    Tahs MOM v Crusaders

The signal to noise ratio there is beyond my patience.
