Doran seems to be a true insider these days, so I wouldn’t imagine he’d write an article like that without something to back it up

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

It's not that he hasn't been good per se, its that he's been labeled as "the best lock in Europe" for years now, when in reality NZ has at least 3 locks that are clearly much better than him. He's a solid player that has been talked up as a world beater

We all hope they do well, but relying on a guy coming back from ACL surgery to be great is not really a good strategy

I guess we aren’t getting out of the pool stage then

Agreed, in a vacuum I can understand him not making it. But by dropping guys like Tom Wright on form yet picking Vunivalu and Uelese despite their utter lack of form, it’s the kind of thing that a could make players roll their eyes if Eddie talks about “high standards”

    Scott Robinson valued it

Both Uelese and Vunivalu are older than Tom Wright this ‘upside’ doesn’t exist. These guys are who they are. This is just typical Eddie, trying to prove he’s right

Uelese has to have comprising photos of Eddie, only way it makes sense Hell just start him at 13, at least that way we will get 2 competent Hookers in the match day squad

Umm, normally the act of rushing occurs when there is, indeed, a time constraint

You seem to be the un-serious one calling that team a "B" team. Wasn't aware PSDT was a backup level player

I Honestly don’t see the downside. We were losing consistently and making the same mistakes for 3 with Rennie anyway, so why not try something new

Kerevi has really been looking too slow for international rugby these last two weeks. Hopefully has has another gear but if not Eddie has a decision to make

Funniest part of all this is they were a Blair Kinghorn kick and Wales not knocking on 5 meters out and they go 0 from 5 on that tour Building nicely!

Why are we still doing this? Last year included an embarrassing series loss to an England team badly out of form, a 40-14 loss to NZ, 48-17 to Argentina, 24-8 to South Africa, lose 4 out of five on the spring tour, with the only win being against a woeful Welsh side that sacked their coach...

Exactly, England I’m 2007 and France in 2011 had no business being anywhere near the final

One guy had 3 years with them, the other has had 3 weeks

Also a winless European tour in 2021
