I get your point, and the way the rules are going, ankle tackles might be the only thing allowed soon

    Wallabies 2023

Wait, have you never heard of a ball and all tackle? Obviously there is a time and a place for all sorts of tackles, but the ball and all is a very effective way to stop teams offloading into contact I.E the Drua

    Wallabies 2023

The RFU's version of high, or actually high?

    Wallabies 2023

The game's changed. A ball and all tackle stops offload's and slows their ball down
  5. Tomthumb

    Wallabies 2023

You realize that makes it far easier for the player to offload, right?

And what did we win with a young Quade? What did the AB's win with Carlos Spencer? We seem to ignore how important Dan Carter's defense was for NZ being so dominant for so long

    Wallabies 2023

Huh? If this is the thinking at Wallaby level then I'm not surprised the AB's put 50 on us every year

    Wallabies 2023

why can’t we just admit all these players have faults? A couple of decent games and now Carter Gordon is Dan Carter apparently, beyond reproach

The Drua seemed to enjoy running his way Its not just about making tackles, it's about the type of tackles that get made

Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 1st April, GIO

The Maul is the most Ludacris thing in any sport. It's obstruction that in that one random instance is somehow legal There is no logical sense for it to be a legal play

I thought Lolosio was actually playing quite well, especially defensively. Carter Gordon was pretty woeful on the tackle against the Drua and Donaldson has always been a bit of a turnstile himself. Hopefully we dont have to return to the days of hiding the 10 at fullback on defence

Yeah, 38% win record. Give that man a gold star!

With the amount of Rugby he has played, 31 years old for Hooper is about 51 years old for the rest of us. Not surprising he isn't the same guy anymore

    Waratahs 2023

Glad to see Tah's fans are keeping their spirits up by dreaming about finishing in the lofty heights of 8th. Gotta dream big

That's because international Rugby is the pinnacle of the sport I don't mind league but they come across as extremely childish with all this. I mean if you are such a superior sport, why get so upset about one player leaving. It's pretty pathetic

    Wallabies 2023

Huh? Who really cares what Brandon Smith thinks about Rugby? Who really cares what Brandon Smith thinks about anything? Have us beat how? League has this weird Napoleon complex due to the fact that outside the east coast of Australia and South Auckland, no one knows what League is. There is a...

    Wallabies 2023

How it made the players feel? This is a professional sport ffs How do they think the fans feel watching NZ beat us for the Bledisloe for 2 decades? The entitlement is baffling
  19. Tomthumb

    Wallabies 2023

Maybe they should put their frustrations into winning games of rugby so they don't have to buy players

    Wallabies 2023

What's the risk? Rennie and his team were hardly setting the world alight. Forwards seemed to take a step back when McKellar came aboard
