    Kurtley Beale

Whether or not Patston followed due process is the mother of all red herrings here. Just like the earlier questioning of her qualifications, it's all just obfuscation. To me, it's as simple as this: Beale sent highly inappropriate texts re: someone in a management position. In the interests of...

    Kurtley Beale

Has this been posted yet? Brand new article from Iain Payten with specifics re: texts between Patston and Beale. According to this, Patston did keep the initial texts private and away from management (Ewen included), wishing to solve it on the down low...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

Hah, I missed that sorry. I'm really looking forward to him in gold too!

Australia also deserves to see Speight fully fit and not rushed back prematurely, risking further injury, for the sake of a home match.

Yeah I don't see much NSW vs QLD here to be honest. For myself, I'm a Wallabies fan first and Reds fan second. All I want is this issue/s, whatever it is, to be fixed the hell up and Australian rugby be competitive again. Against rugby league. Against the All Blacks. Competitive in every sense.

If things pan out the way people are speculating, the ARU should relocate the final Bledisloe match to the Gabba - the All Blacks are gonna rack up a cricket score against us.

    Argentina v Australia, Mendoza 4/10/14

No, we're not. You're right, it wasn't a game for a wide-running 8, and as such what I saw was Higginbotham adapt his game, playing much tighter than he often does (which is what people have been crying out from him for years). He was one of the few that ripped in. No arguments about his...

I actually thought Higgers played pretty well overall, was really in the thick of it.

Rams versus Brisvegas @ Parramatta, Fri 3rd Oct

The above blog post is a great example of how powerful the NRC can be for our code. Getting some of these bloody talented young guys out of the league system and into union earlier.

Rams versus Brisvegas @ Parramatta, Fri 3rd Oct

Rams are quite dominant at the ruck. City forwards really need to start muscling up.

(I shouldn't be mean though, they're giving it a good crack).

The worst one I've heard a few times already is "the try is on, they've just got to put it together!" Well, yes. Of course they do.

Try City. Browning barges over. 24 - 13 with conv to come.

Rams versus Brisvegas @ Parramatta, Fri 3rd Oct

Rams causing a lot of issues for City in the ruck, doing well slowing it up, disrupting and a few good steals.

24 - 8 to the Rams. Not a bad read by Quade, just very good running by the Rams player.

Geez, some lovely passing from Quade there.

Thanks TOCC, approx. 5,000 feels about right.

    NRC Crowd Watch

I'm not too sure about exact numbers, but 9,000 is certainly possible. I was there, and one stand (the one in the shade) and the Hill were packed, with a few stragglers up in the other stands. It was a really good turn out I think.
