Apparently this was the first time our Women's 7's team has played an International tournament on home soil. Would be nice if it could happen more often in the future.

The thing is though, club funding is for elite programs not development. The ARU might be better off providing 70% for elite rugby and 30% for development. Not sure it would work though as they are short of coin.

I spoke to one of the guys who is training with them and he said things haven't been settled yet and they wont know exactly what the deal is until November. He is just in the Academy so I'd say the EPS is sorted.

I think Rod Seib and Adam Wallace-Harrison will be in charge at Sunnybank again next year. They have done some good things in the last 2 years. There will be a change in the Colts program though.
