I was referring to a Brisbane South team. I would expect the North team to play out of Ballymore but the Filth could be an option. My suggestion of Easts Leagues was about size and location of venue.

I would expect a gate fee to be charged. If it didn't cover the costs of hiring a ground then they might as well play it at suburban grounds with no gate. In my view there are a number of grounds around that host Q Cup games for TV and are good to go, so why not use them. As for Premier Grounds...

That was the issue with the Aces, they were based on the GC where people are at the beach and don't want to be watching rugby at the start of summer. The Gold Coast struggles to support sporting teams. It needs to be in Brisbane where the people are. My vote would be Langlands Park In Coorparoo...

So in a 10 team comp you only want 1 team from Qld? I think there is a good argument for 3 at the moment but think it may end up at 2. They need to work on the branding though. East Coast Aces has to be one of the worst names for a team. I'd like to see a South Brisbane Bunyips team.

From reports the U20's will have a full program next year in the lead up to the JRWC. Looks like they won't be playing Premier Rugby at all.

I've always been a fan of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 but over the last few games I can see the real value he brings on the wing. I actually think it suits him better. He has taken over Digby's roving commission. He'll be in the squad and starting 15 in my view.

I think you'll find that clubs will loose their Premier funding fro the ARU/QRU and it will go into the running of a national comp. This is funding for performance rugby. As for a start date I can't see there being any other option around when to start Premier Rugby, unless you want to start...

Anthony Matherson is the Premier Coach, Matty Kaye is GM from my understanding. Also noises coming from down south that the season will end in July for a national comp. Looks like we'll kick off at the start of March.

There is a Club proposed comp that runs from April to September. No confirmation of if it will go ahead. It involves separating 1st, 2nd and Colts from the rest of club rugby. Sounds like something that happened in Brisbane 10 years ago and didn't work.

There is a train of thought that some people don't want it to happen so aren't sharing the information. All the Sydney clubs seem to know all about it.
