    Rugby World Cup 2019

Look at the number of citings v the number of actual red cards - it shows the onfield refs/TMO aren't getting it right around 50% of the time in the heat of the battle (or perhaps they are game managing around it). This doesn't even take into account the ones that are missed

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Yeah, TV ratings are down across the board. It's a changing landscape out there https://www.smh.com.au/culture/tv-and-radio/nrl-grand-final-tv-audiences-down-streaming-up-20191007-p52yag.html

    Waratahs 2020

Wouldn't have thought the coaches salary would ever get publicly revealed. It will all be wrapped up in the "high performance" budget. Of coarse it may get leaked, especially if there is a disgruntled CEO on the loose.

    Refereeing decisions

I don't understand how both players got the same sanction too. The mitigation seems to be that the player wasn't hurt (!?!) and each player got to blame the other, or other players contributed to the situation

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Bit of a hint in Wayne Smith's article today that Tupou's continuing poor ball handling is what is keeping him out of the 23

    RWC Week 3 matches

Both Italian props get 3 weeks

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Total 475k for Aus v Uru 174k on fox Most other games around 100k

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

He got picked for the A games against England didn't he?

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Unfortunately, the three person panel doesn't have any better options to pick from

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Samoa

if Scotland beat Japan it will come down to bonus points. Japan got the 4+ one here so losing by <7 against Scotland would be enough to get them through (probably)

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Samoa

If Japan can get a bonus point here Scotland will be very very nervous

    Refereeing decisions

I imagine they'd have to ask for and would then be given dispensation to drop another squad member to ensure they could meet their trained front row requirents.

    RWC 2019 Japan vs Samoa

About 2m away from and directly in front of the ref too. One of the more stupid things I've seen for a while from a player in a game this big

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Uruguay -Saturday October 5 2019 @ 2:15pm

How much you beat the weaker teams with your dirt trackers playing is entirely irrelevant to how good a team you are or how far you'll go in the tournament. Win, get the bonus point, then never think about the game again

    RWC Week 3 matches

Credit to South Africa, but Italy were simply dreadful. Worst performance for any team so for mine
  16. Strewthcobber

    RWC Week 3 matches

Bokke forwards may have lost their scrum advantage, but they are brutalizing the Italians just about everywhere else on the field. Don't think a maul has been stopped legally once yet
  17. Strewthcobber

    RWC Week 3 matches

Italian replacement tight head who came on after 2 mins and was already getting treatment for a rib injury gets a very convenient HIA 18 minutes in. We go to non-contested scrums

    Refereeing decisions

There was a massive one around 72 minutes in the USA v France game as well, when the USA no 4 made his break up the missle
