    Waratahs 2014

There were reports in the Irish press that he was in talks with Leinster but they pulled out as they wanted a winger who could cover centre, not visa versa in their squad. After them its hard to see how else needed him and could afford his wages.

    Waratahs 2014

I think it is important to have a few older heads around when rebuilding as Cheika is, so he is a good signing. Keep the quality in the squad and get rid of the deadwood. I'd agree with Braveheart81 that Robinson, Douglas and TPN are also central to the Tahs progress and need to be the next in...

Waratahs up to 16,215, I doubt they'll make the 20k target.

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

A very sensible suggestion one which the top brass in Tah land would just find too logical to follow through on Re bar service: haven't had a problem with this so far this year in fact yet to see so much as a queue where I am, although that could change on Sunday if there are 25k+ at the game.

Ewen McKenzie - Life after the Reds

The favourite a few hours ago was a Mr J Schmidt, never heard of him hope he is a decent coach :D

Ewen McKenzie - Life after the Reds

Betting got suspended on him becoming Irish coach over night, but he has drifted out to second favourite now. Would still be suprised if he got the gig, i think as others have said he is settling for the HPU job and then going for the Wobs once Dingo leaves.

The game of girls 7's at half time on Friday was great to watch! More of that please Tahs

I would assume its tomorrow given its a Sunday game.

    Heineken Cup 2013

I think Leinster have a slightly better base to work from in their rebuilding than Munster. Someone like Naweca can be replaced by Dave Kearney who has regularly been involved in the Heineken Cup, for BOD read O'Malley, D'Arcy read McFadden etc. I do think Leinster might struggle to win another...

    Lions Tour 2013

If the Lions play Robshaw at 7 they are up shit creek without a paddle. They need a fetcher and Tipuric is that man, at this stage I doubt Wood will tour. POC would probably go straight into the test 23 if he were fit as would Lydiate and Bowe, can't blame the Fat man for giving those 3 all...

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

The most frustrating thing about Kidneys reign was that he repeated mistake after mistake. We heard after our 60-0 loss against the All Blacks that he knew what was wrong and knew how to fix it, we're hearing the same now. Yet still 50 minutes against Argentina and 43 against Wales aside we've...

    Lions Tour 2013

After the game make sure you send the seat numbers to the ARU. Then they'll hopefully stop the scalper from purchasing tickets again

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

Declan Kidney is meeting with the IRFU board tomorrow, he'll be let go at this meeting according to the Irish Indo. Although worringly early indications from the journos usually in the know suggest Kiss will be part of any new set up, he has been the worst of all the coaches involved and I'd...

    Waratahs 2013

Is Folau not financed by the ARU? I meant look overseas for a big name signing, I mean I doubt the Tahs could bring in someone like Nonu, BOD etc

    Waratahs 2013

Cheika recruited very wisely in Leinster and transformed the team from a powder puff pack and inconsistent backs into Heineken Cup winners, and in doing so laid the foundations for Leinster to make the next team into the top ranked team in Europe. However it took him 2 off seasons of recruiting...

    Waratahs 2013

Although I was set against it a few weeks ago now is the time to give Folau a go at 13. He constantly gets his hands free in the tackle and is regularly beating the first man. The more we can get him the ball the more he'll create for others, I think if he sticks with rugby he is going to be a...

Not very if I recall, but I can still hope!

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

I thought about Lucas starting but if BB isn't fit I assume McKibben will be in the team as the goalkicker.

Waratahs Blues Sunday 24th March, SFS

After an improved but not perfect performance against the Cheetahs would you make any changes to the side? Will BB be fit for this one? Personally I'd keep the pack the same, move Folau to 13, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 15 and Horne at 12 if BB is injured.
