In my opinion the best referee this year has been Pollock. He has started off well again, he was the form referee in the first half of the year last year as well, and I hope he continues his good work.

He played well from what I remember.

Pat, Kimani and James King all played. It was a rolling 1st/2nd grade match with both teams not putting out a full strength team IIRC. Last quarter was probably the closest to the full strength sides and it was pretty even.

VRU 7s tournament this weekend at AAMI park.

Some decent match ups in the trials this weekend: Souths v Melbourne will be a good game Quins v House will also be a good game IMO Northern v Uni might be closer than people think as well.

I am 99% sure you are right, give me a second to look in my lawbook. Can't find the relevant law sorry, but have a read of law 22, that is all about in-goal.
