    He's a good player, too good for local rugby as he has consistently ripped it up in the games I have seen him play but that was in colts. This year he should be making the step up to senior rugby and it will be interesting to see how he goes.

    I disagree that those clubs "screwed" Boroondara. Sure they might have voted against them but at the end of the day they wouldn't have been relegated if their performance on the pitch was better.

    Fair enough. The last info I got was that it wasn't a done deal, just an opened invitation to train together.

    That's because they are not merged as far as I know. It's just a standing invitation to the Boroondara players to attend pre-season training with Box Hill and if they join BH then they join, if they don't then the don't.

    Are you sure you watch the same matches as everyone? Walshy has been very good since he has worked his way back to the IRB panel and, IMO, it would be between him and Joubert as to who is the best in the world.

    No news, I doubt anything will happen now as they have left it too late. Although a mate said a lot of the P1 players from Boroondara have already committed to other clubs.

    Because Higgenbotham was hired as an 8 and Hill has been on record saying that is where he will play.

    I just got my card in the mail with a note saying I would get a cap and a scarf etc. No biggie really as, like has been pointed out, the season doesn't start for a couple of months.
