In the first 20 minutes France were pretty good playing it at pace and not dying with the ball. Had the OZ defence chasing. Tried to start this half the same and it's poor execution. Penalty to OZ. White misses the kick. Another penalty against France from the restart. White lining up again

Interesting strategy by the Wallabies so far. Seems To'omua has been used a lot at first reciever.

Did he? He was fairly anonymous for most of the game. His quietest for a very long time. In fact he looked well short of a gallop.

Tales will stand a lot flatter than Freddie and with an improved (on paper) looking forward pack, the French may offer a bit more potency on attack. Fofana and Bast might get some decent ball to play with. I am a little surprised that Chouly is starting ahead of Picamoles though.

And Slipper performed excellent in other facets of play and he's a prop. His play as a 2nd playmaker was excellent. Drew and pass, took the wide balls, spin in the tackle, then there was his clean out work.
