Good on him though. Generally speaking I prefer players to let their actions do the talking - but we need characters to stoke up the rivalry and he gets stuck in when he is out there. Of course I am hoping the words come back to bite him this weekend.

Agree with that last bit. In the last few years the Reds (and other franchises) have really improved their development of young players. Still a way to go, but it is a much more sustainable model.
