Bledisloe 2 at Eden Park 18/10/20

Well said. I think poor chip kicks set an immediate precedent for a poor game given the history of poor kicking in the wallabies. Much like like a few poor box kicks. To be fair, To'omua has a smart rugby mind. He always seems to do a kick behind the defensive line early in the game to keep...

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

Yeh Fainga's throwing was poor, but I'm not confident Ulese is any better, actually he has a history of being much worse then Fainga. Fainga at super level is usually solid in that area too. Something definitly needs to be sorted though. I would say our locks were both impressive. I was...

Bledisloe 2 at Eden Park 18/10/20

Harrison finished the season strong, I think he may have the best kicking game out of all the 10's in Aus. Lolesio the more dynamic runner, but also a solid kicking game. I would prefer to see them both battling out the 10 jersey for years to come.

To'omua is a superb defender at 12 so I'm sure if he's leading the line he may be able to help direct Paisami around a bit. Paisami is a strong tackler too he just get's caught out of position at times. This will be improved. Can't be any worse then Kerevi was to begin with.

Absolutely unfair. I have noticed him this season and think he's playing better then he ever was. His running lines at superb. And his work around the park is great. I think he was clearly better then Sio at the Brumbies and was scrummaging better then him too. If Tupou wasn't such a freak I...

The only real surprise for me is Gordon on the bench ahead of Tate or even Powell. Would have loved to see Tate's running game in the last 15mins. But then again, I have always thought Gordon was under-rated and would probably look a lot better if he wasn't in a poor Tahs team. Hopefully Gordon...

Nice comparison. Very interesting. I agree the locks are a step down. But otherwise, it's really just a difference in styles. For example Pocock V Wilson, it's hard to say Wilson is a better player then Pocock as they have completely different styles of games, Pocock is the best at what he...

I rate Maddocks also. But doesn't have the consistency or form like Banks does for the past 2-3 years. I back Maddocks to over-take Banks in the near future though, he has great positioning and all round skill.. but as I think as it stands right now Bank is a fair gap ahead.

Super Rugby Au Final - Brumbies v Reds

As a Brumbies fan, I actually think they have dropped form since the start of the season. So I think this game is going to be a cracker! Reds will come in confident

    Brumbies v Waratahs, Rnd 7 2020 GIO Stadium Sunday 15 Mar 16:05

Hard to say, I'm looking it at from a Brumbies view, but you're looking at it from a Tahs viewpoint. Momentum tends to lead to more penalties towards the dominate team, hence the swing. Maybe in reality it should have been 12 - 2, or 10 - 3. But really it's one or two bad calls, not 10 bad...

Neville at lock surely a case now. Would take him over Simmons.

Love Wright and hope to see him there. But on Super XV form Kellaway takes it, and Speight probably slightly ahead of Wright... but Wright is just showing signs of being a much more dangerous player. Tough choice for Rennie.

I think McDermott is losing value, he can't even lock down a spot at the Reds.

Anyways, did I see Valetini used in a line early on? I hope this continues. Neville was pretty epic in this game too. Might have put his foot ahead of Simmons in the running for a gold jersey (if Rennie really is choosing on super xv form, and not so much test level experience).

So sick of ref blaming. They aren't gods. There are 50/50 calls 100 times in each game. Get over it. Go play Rugby 08 on xbox if you want black and white reffing.

Hooper outplayed Miller. But if you compare him to Samu...... who wins that battle?

I wonder why Wright didn't start, Muirhead was solid but Wright looks so dangerous with ball in hand. Ryan Lonergan's goal kicking is very handy too. Not easy kicks too and he's 100%.

I agree with you. Just wanted to take a chance at having a cheeky dig at Simmons.
