Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

We all know why Deans has JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 and it isn't because JOC (James O'Connor) is the best 10 in the country. Despite his weaknesses, QC (Quade Cooper) is probably the best 10 in the country. And after his "toxic" comments against Deans and the Wallabies culture we know Deans has crossed a line through his name. Great...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I was at the game and yelled out at one stage when Halfpenny was lining up for a penalty there's this thing called the try line. A Lions supporter quickly responded with yes and if you kick the ball over the try line between the uprights it is worth 3 points. So when AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) scored and Lealiafano...

It happened right in front of the sideline official / assistant referee and they didn't even pay a penalty.

    Rebels 2014

p.tah was talking about Jake White as a national coach who had then gone well as a Super coach. Neither he or I were suggesting White as a possible Rebels coach.

I assume p.tah is talking about a former South African coach with the surname White.

    Time to watch 10 news

I will be watching Ten. They are showing it live and have brought my favourite Rugby commentator Gordon Bray back. I remember getting up early or staying up late to watch the Wallabies and Gordon Bray on the ABC from the UK.

    Brumbies v Rebels RD17

According to the Rebels website Hegarty is out with a virus. Hilgendorf moves from the bench to 10 and Angus Roberts comes onto the bench. Never thought I would see James wearing the Rebels number 10 again. Welcome back and good luck James.

    Rebels 2014

Nic Henderson has announced his retirement from the end of this year. So he won't be around in 2014.

    Rebels 2013

There could be 6 changes this week. Higgers, Pyle and Saffy(all injured), JOC (James O'Connor) and Phipps (Wallabies) and Shota Horie (possibly playing for Japan v Wales). Therefore would expect Reid and 2 of Davidson, King and Thomson to come in plus Burgess and Roberts / Hilgendorf and possibly Leafa.

    Rebels 2014

I don't think Eddie Aholelei will be with the Rebels next year. He has played a test for Tonga so surely that means he takes up an international spot on our list. I can't see the Rebels holding open an international spot for a 31 year old who has played just one game of Super Rugby and doesn't...

    Rebels v Waratahs, rd15 SR2013

12k is better than last week's 10k, particularly as there was 65k across the road at the G. The 12k made a truck load of noise, the atmosphere was awesome. Great win by the Rebels, that is the best defense I have seen from us. Their only try came from a terrible Mitchell pass when he should...

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

At the ground I thought Higginbotham knocked the ball on before the penalty try. I thought the referees were a bit average there were decisions both ways that they missed I remember a blatant knock on from the Stormers that was missed when they were 5 metres out. Why did the ref need to go to...

    Rebels 2013

I spoke to Pat Leafa last night and he said he would probably be named on the bench v the Tahs and if not definitely a couple of weeks after that v Brumbies because Shota will be with Japan playing against Wales. BTW Pat is with the Rebels in 2014.

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

Inman has been one of if not our best this year. It was good to see Horie get some game time, I thought he was reasonably good except for one lost lineout. Higginbotham and Pyle were magnificent. Saffy's running is back to near his best and I like Fuglistaller at the breakdown. The scrum was...

    Blues v Rebels R13 Saturday 5:30pm EST

It is good to see Shota Horie get a start and hopefully some more game time. There has been six matches where he has sat on the bench for the entire match and he has played just over 40 minutes in the 4 games he has got on the park.
