    Rebels 2014

Swingpass I was told Saffy was going to France. About a month ago Saffy re-tweeted a couple of tweets from Racing Club Narbonne. So I'd say there is a fair chance that is where he is going.

Australian Sport TV Ratings.. Rugby Falling

TOCC also goes to show what broadcasting the match live throughout Australia does as well. Channel None were only showing matches live in Brisbane and Sydney. The rest of the country got them at 11:30pm. Since Ten got the rights I have been watching the Wallabies on Ten (plus I like Gordon Bray).

I don't think Sitauti has re-signed with Rebels yet. Does anyone have any news on that? Hegarty hasn't re-signed either yet but is set to sign a new deal with the Rebels in the next few days. Blues recovery please don't go.

I spoke to Pat Leafa during the season. He is definitely at the Rebels in 2014.

    Rebels 2014

TOCC I don't think Dave Beat would agree with a third tier comp because that would mean more Manly players not playing for Manly. (Having said that the Rebels have sent a few players over to the ITM Cup instead of sending them back to Shute Shield, perhaps the Rebels think there should be a...

    Rebels 2013

I see the Rebels Season awards were announced during the week: Player's Player of the year: Scott Higginbotham Spirit of Weary Dunlop: Scott Fuglistaller Rookie of the Year: Tom English Rod Macqueen Pursuit of Exellence: Nick Phipps Rebel Rising Best Local Player: Taofiga Sa Rebel Rising Matt...

    Rebels 2014

We have lost two quality on field players and two Wallabies in similar positions. I think we need some new players with x factor. Woodward and Hegarty are reasonably good but Roberts is average. Even if you don't think we will miss them in the starting XV we need to replace them for depth...

    Rebels v Highlanders Rd 20

Jones was sensational off the bench. JOC (James O'Connor) was very good too. English continues to impress. Great to send the departing players off with a win. While it is great theatre snatching a win at the death it would if the Rebels could play like that the whole game. Thanks to Gareth, Ged and Hendo who...

    Rebels 2014

Blues recovery (or anyone else for that matter) any inside gossip on who we are going to sign to replace Beale and JOC (James O'Connor). Also any news on a couple of players who as far as I know are still uncontracted in Saffy and Sitauti.

John Muggleton is leaving the Rebels too. Confirmed in article about our team for game v Highlanders.

    Rebels 2014

Given our improvement since South African tour I feel a bit sorry for Hill. Hopefully we sign Louden as an assistant. Be interesting if any of Muggleton, Grey, Tink or Cockbain remain on the Rebels coaching staff.

    Rebels 2014

Despite our effort v the Tahs if fit JOC (James O'Connor) and Beale are both in our starting XV and both Wallabies. So if they both left that would IMO leave a hole in our back line. In any case if they both leave we are losing 4 backs along with Phipps and Kingi and currently have recruited two backs - Burgess...

    Rebels 2014

So if we lose both Kurtley and JOC (James O'Connor) that leaves some big holes in our back line. Any thing on the grape vine about any backs we are after. At this stage the only backs we have recruited for next year are Kingston and Burgess. Our other recruits are all forwards eg Lahiff, Sexton, Fainga'a, Smith...

    Rebels 2014

Given the talk of Beale leaving I thought we would keep JOC (James O'Connor). It hurts the Rebels to lose that amount of x factor. Although neither of them have been on the field a lot over the last couple of years. The lack of a contract just shows something about his attitude and off field persona / behaviour.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Shiggins I remember noting BOD being offside at the time.
