Great game. F/T Ireland 16 defeated NZ 9

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

High quality first half of rugby.
  3. Quick Hands

    Wallabies v Italy

Well, I don't think our backs made a line break last week, so possibly our opposition don't need to spend too much time devising defensive strategies.;)

    Wallabies v Italy

At least it would allow for an apples v apples comparison. The larger issue being that since RWC 2015 there has been no real attempt to give any player a real shot at 10 other than Foley. Now, I'm not one of the Foley haters, but his game has some positives it also has some shortcomings. So...

    Wallabies v Italy

You've overlooked the point that unless To'omua scores three tries, sets up another three and kicks 8 goals and a couple of field goals, Foley will play next week.

Barnes is always calm and unflustered and speaks to the players calmly and respectfully. I' sure he makes the odd mistake, but they're few and far between and generally 50/50 calls or he's obscured. Not a show pony like Nigel.

The marketing intern doing his thing.

    Wallabies v Italy

To'omua is a better goal kicker and has a longer kick than Foley, so one wonders what Foley is there for. Maybe he needs a specialist to defend in the tram tracks at the lineout?;)

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

Barnes is the best in the world at the moment.

More importantly, I'm looking forward to NZ v Ireland this week. Let's hope for another great game of test match rugby.

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

The ball is clearly out of the ruck in that screen shot. Don't know who put the red line there, but the offside line at a ruck is the hindmost foot of the England team in the ruck, as opposed to a pile of bodies lying on the ground. IIRC the scrum half had the ball in his hands in that very...

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

I'd much rather we stay with the refs on-field decision and I'm happy to live with 50/50 calls made by the ref. I'm philosophically opposed to TMO involvement in anything other than the actual act of grounding the ball and blatant foul play. WR (World Rugby) seem to be trying to wind back TMO involvement...

    All Blacks Northern Tour 2018

I'm not so sure that the correct decision was made, and certainly wasn't "clear and obvious" as the new protocols state. The fact that we needed multiple replays of the incident to try to work out whether or not he advanced before the half cleared the ball attests to this. I prefer the...

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

For something which doesn't merit a second of consideration, you seem to have spent a while churning out this post. Get that bile out of your system, you'll feel better for it.

    Wallabies v Italy

Perhaps he's not, but I'd like to see it so we all know for sure. I'm not even sure that we even have a test level fly half in the Australian game. Foley is with parts of his game, but he's by no means the complete package or anything like it at test level.

Hmmm, Well since 2016 Jones has coached England in 33 tests for 26 wins (win ratio 79%) points for 896 against 526 Since 2014 Cheika has coached Australia in 56 tests for 27 wins (win ratio 48.2%) points for 1436 agains 1406 In this time, England have a 60% or better record against all...

As with many Wallaby supporters you prefer emotion to objective facts.

Resorting to abuse is generally a sign that a person can't provide a logical argument to sustain their point.
