    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

It takes a real good coach and a lot of heart to come back from that type of demolition

Hopefully it comes back ok. I really like him as a player

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Sorry mate, let me be clearer. Con is definitely a Prems level player, however I feel his step up to Premier Grade was seen as so seamless due to the talent around him. This isn't a bad thing but I think Con would not be seen as such a force if he was thrown into a backline with lesser quality...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Works hard but I doubt would not get the attention he receives now if he played for different club. He is a premier grade level player but in my opinion his develeopment has stagnated and has improved much since that first season of colts

How is Jarrod Saffy going? Anyone know if he will be good to play again?

    Reds 2013

Why not? Has he plAyed for the Kenyan national team? I think that players from minnow countries or countries who dint have there own pro comp should be counted outside the foreign player quota. As it gives people like this guy, Romanians, Samoans , shit even Argentinians a chance

    Shute Shield 2012

Anyone else sick of the abc commentators bitching about the rules of the game specifically scrums. It actually makes me sick a little bit. Pampas even said a few weeks ago that contested scrums should be scrapped and to fall inline with another great game......some one please tell me his address...

    Shute Shield 2012

I think one of the biggest things university clubs benefit from is the fact the they do not have to fork out for utilities and maintenance bills as it is covered by the university as it is there facilities as well

    so you mean the ARC?

    $1 million Rugby Revolution

As said in a previous thread ARU wont let anything happen that could effectively kill the Shute Shield and some of the heritage clubs. Hence they wont allow players to go, which means that know contracted pros makes things pretty much just players from the shute shield whoa rent tied to any...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Maybe in the backs my man of that i have no doubt but my comments is that Sunnbybank will take this game to the trenches and fight it on the frontline through there forwards. One only need look at the Banks bench to see this goign for a 5/2 split.....GPS los enothign in the backs but i doubt...

    Shute Shield 2012

but if clubs stop paying players than there needs to be soem real auditing on uni providing scholarships to players......only seems fair

    Shute Shield 2012

I think the final bit in lords article is shit abotu players nto ever having a job. I know that reds players are encouraged to undertake tertiary studies or vocational studies. Also look at all the players who have retired early to follow other career paths or continue their educations

    Sydney Shake Up

I doubt this would ever happen, ARU power brokers wouldnt let something liek this go through which would kill the shute shield. Effectively this takes out any contracted player and i doubt ten would take a 'primetime' punt on a comp that will have contracted players of any way shape or form. I...
