    Lions Tour 2013

BOD? Playing too much for Leinster? Just because the Welsh players regard playing for their franchises as little more than a contractual obligation does not mean that the Irish lads are not passionate about pulling on the jersey of their home province. Ask Paul O'Connell, Conor Murray or Simon...

Adam Jones would be someone about which you me and Boris Johnson agree. If you notice than scans but you don't like that in Wales, crow black, slow black..... Noose!!!

They don't have the time Wales fan and they are never going to get it back. If Parling or AWJ get dropped on their heads by someone tomorrow will it really be bad luck? 74 they played 27 games or something crazy.

    Lions Tour 2013

September 2011 was when Ireland beat Aus in a game that matters. That was when I realised that the hark back to amateurism that is the Lions is holding NH rugby back. The Munster lads are back in pre season and their colleagues Conor Murray and Paul O'Connell have not even finished their...

I could not agree more but that was not Rolland's fault then and it hasn't been since. But he was the fella who had threats made against his life. The funny thing is that you never see a tip/ spear tackle when Rolland is reffing, funnily enough.

Agree that the hookers are part of the problem but my main point really is that I think it is nearly impossible for a team to compete without a line out and I don't think it is possible to scratch one together in a couple of weeks.

Oh yes and if you want to get going on xenophobic and insular lets start talking about the Welsh reaction to St Sam's correct dismissal in the World Cup. Haven't noticed any death threats against Gatland yet Cardiffblue.

    Lions Tour 2013

If by some miracle your Lions win tomorrow I will be looking forward to all the modesty and self effacement evident in this post that will be emanating from the principality. Fortunately a Welsh victory is probably as likely as on the last seven occasions you have played Australia. Gatland has...

Best spirit Cardiffblue? Have you not heard all the BS that has been going on about Horwill? Enjoy the last Lions test in Australia.

As it happens, I agree that there is no point buying into the franchise and then chucking the toys when the franchise does something of which you disapprove. The pleasing thing for me, who doesn't support the Lions and hasn't since my epiphany on the 17th september 2011, is that more Irish rugby...

    Lions Tour 2013

The line out is about so , so much more than the hooker hitting his man. The timing of some of the lifting has been fecking terrible and some of the lifting, looking at you unfit Adam Jones, has been pitiful. Everyone is quick enough to blame the hooker and Best has a serious case of the yips...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Going on Roberts form before he got injured, no need to worry too much because he will just drop the ball!?!?

    Lions Tour 2013

Even in my widest anti lions dreams I could not have imagined that Gatland would make the concept of the Lions so unpopular. Fans from the other three countries are saying they will be hoping for an Australia win on Saturday. So even if the Lions win there will be a level of disappointment...

    Lions Tour 2013

That selection has done wonders for my cause. Strangely considering BOD was the only person I wanted on the tour in the first place, I didn't really think he deserved to be on the plane on the basis of his six nations form. Truth be told the Lions will lose this tour in the forwards and more...

    Lions Tour 2013

It is not just the hookers though, the whole coordination of the Lions line out is shot to feck. Haven't heard whether Youngs the elder is over his injury but if he is out it has to be Hibbard and Best. The problem the Lions have is that throwing and mostly under throwing to two means any ball...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

Been asking around and can't find anything about Paulie gouging, there was controversy because he didn't condemn Alan Quinlan's actions and the British press used it as a stick to start beating him because they didn't like him being Captain of the Lions and threw their toys because Borthwick...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

Sorry Alex but you really should remove the allegation that Paul O'Connell gouged someone. There was never the slightest indication from anybody that such a thing occurred. Fine to comment on Quinnie and Paulies incident with Dave Kearney but to accuse a player of gouging with absolutely zero...

    James Horwill cited for stamping

The whole citing procedure is a complete load of bollix. The IRB have made a balls up by appealing their own officers decision but most importantly they have allowed the matter to be hopelessly dragged out. The IRB needs to set up a committee of inquiry to cover every pro game worldwide...
