The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

Disagree with your assessment of the game. I think the ABs dropped in intensity after the first 30 because they had a nice lead. What I saw is the Aussie forward pack cannot live with our physicality when we take it up a notch. If we had maintained that intensity, the score would have been a...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

The ABs will not play their first choice teams now. Toeava, Dagg, SBW and Kahui need to be given starts.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

It doesn't matter if you played okay, the issue is outplaying the ABs. I thought you were comprehensively blown off the park in the first 40.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

It was their top gear for the first half only. They dropped intensity in the 2nd. Where they are going to improve is to play with that intensity for 80 minutes.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

The Franks brothers, Mealamu, Hore, Thorn, Read and Kaino. These are the difference at the physicality at the breakdown. I think they consistently out-muscle the Aussie forward pack provided they are up for the game. The real problem in terms of beating the ABs are the ABs know the formula to...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Cooper's in game kicking was inaccurate, he threw a couple of forward passes, almost gave away a try on his own goal line, and as far as I could see didn't tackle anyone. QC (Quade Cooper) did a nice pass for Elsom's try. Carter missed no kicks, took on the line, tackled well, turned ball over in the tackle...

Cue the complaining. I look forward to the promised G&G video offering a balanced critique of the game.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Reaching. The ABs dropped their intensity in the 2nd half.

Robbie is "building". The difference between Quade Cooper and Daniel Carter should now be clear.

ABs by 10 to 15. They will be too fired up for the Aussies.

    Boks v Blecks match thread

The ABs win again and the Aussies accuse of McCaw of cheating. Some things never change.:fishing

    Boks v Blecks match thread

No argument the ABs transgressed the laws. No Kiwi can be bothered making a Wallaby one because what kind of loser is going to make a video showing the Wallabies cheating when the Wallabies [against the ABs] generally lose anyway. It's just not worth the time. You play to the ref. The ABs are...

    Boks v Blecks match thread

I thought the ABs played pretty well, but will need to lift in intensity next week. Jane cemented his position on the back of one performance - proving what a great big-game player he is. Sivivatu, Guildford, and Gear are fighting it out for the other wing. Toeava and Dagg are competing for...
