Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

    What was our biggest problem?

He may not be the answer, but at least he's a possibility. Quade has a long way to go to get back to his former self. Foley will probably be the starting 10 in the RWC.

You'd have to be completely one-eyed to not see how much Quade's brain-fart cost us. A yellow card, a penalty try, and then two tries while he was compulsorily off the field. He didn't cost us the match, but he was the main contributor to the drubbing. I like Quade, but I wouldn't pick him again...

How many points did New Zealand score after Quade's yellow?

Quade had a very off game. The avalanche of points came after his dumb yellow. To'omua would be my starting 10. White was as slow as a wet week. For all his faults, Phipps gets the ball away instead of waiting.

The pessimism on both sides is reaching a fever-pitch. Excellent!

He has, and yet we still get people saying he shirks the tight work. They just must not see what goes on at ruck time.

    We're plaing Graham Henry?!

That's a fantastic article RedsHappy, that captures the character of both men.

Cheika obviously thinks differently. He's a serial Beale selector.

Nah, none of the banter is racially motivated, even if it is mean-spirited and rude.

Some of it goes a bit far. Good luck to both teams. But more luck to us.

That run straight into touch just before half-time last Saturday was fairly destructive.

It's possible, of course, that Macaw didn't mean that. But it was a poor choice of words at best.

That's a low comment. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Yesh, White getting injured early is the worst-case scenario. If Beale can really cause us to lose in that way, then he shouldn't be on the bench. Fortunately it's his character that's in dispute, not his capabilities as a substitute back. He's had one really poor performance in gold, and he...

Yes. I think those are outliers though.

Predicting a win isn't hubris, although Kiwis consider any prediction of victory over their team to be so. Predicting an easy win would be hubris.

Moore will be like the fatty who kills the white walker in Game of Thrones.
