Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

    1. Only a couple of guys actually have to get back the 10 during the PTB in league. EVeryone else is usually headedback long before the tackle is completed. 2. The interchange bench in league means that forwards can go hard for 15 min or so and then go get a breather on the side. 3. If by 'fat...

Yes. I read well thanks. And you're still wrong.

No. What you said was that he kept quiet when the Springboks had the ball And only spoke when the ABs did something. Which was blatantly false. It is so far wrong that it's laughable

Just re-watching while getting ready to go out and this is soooo far off the mark it's unbelievable. In the space of about 3 mins I've heard Marshall compliment and commend de Villiers, Habana and the Springbok team as a whole. And I don't even like Justin Marshall. I really think your hatred...

Actually, once a ruck has formed, like one had in that situation, it technically doesn't stop being a ruck until the ball comes out. I'm pretty sure thats the Law anyway.

Tell that to Steven Price and Reuben Wiki.....

Mowen Considering Move To France Over Pay Dispute

Do they want to play for the Wallabies or not? It seems that part of the on-field problems with the Wallabies is around heart, passion fire etc...the intangibles so to speak. If 'fringe' players don't have the heart to force their way into being considered as starters, let them go. They can...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

What rubbish. 'Un-coach'?!?! Did Deans have to 'un-coach' players who came out of Super Rugby franchises? Does McKenzie still have to 'un-coach' them from those same franchises? Do Hansen and Meyer have the same problems? What would there be to 'un-coach' about the scrums given Deans didn't coach...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Funny how different it is between the codes. Wayne Bennet has previously said that there are no front rowers worth more than $300K per year.....LOL

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

I don't get all the 'it's too soon' noise. 1. It's not like McKenzie was surprised by a call up to the Wallabies. This is a role he positioned himself for for months - even in getting a new coach at the Reds as a succession plan. He's had a pretty good idea of what he wanted to do and how he...

Yeah - agree. And I wouldn't comment on what BdP's intentions were.....I'm just saying the end result was what it was. My gut feeling is that it was accidental - it was just a shame how everything worked out. Drew Mitchell would know all about it......

All Blacks v Springboks - Eden Park, Sept 14th 2013

In saying that, guys like Geoff Toohvey could tackle like crazy in league back in the day and he was probably the smallest guy on the park 98% of the time. He was a classic, go-low and drop 'em tackler. Sammy Tuitupou was a small guy who could put a big hit on the big guys. I remember a number...

Like BdP went for Dan Carter's ankles?? Or are only the Bok players allowed to go for dominant tackles ;)

In combat art forms, the elbow is seen as a formidable weapon used to strike the opponent. Forearms are used more for blocking, protection and fending off attacks. Let's just say that there's not too many lethal forearm attack techniques that I can think of off the top of my head.....

Wow.....this picture actually shows HOW DIFFERENT both these actions are. I'll give you a hint: where are the elbows on each picture connecting with the tackler?

    1. All good tackles are potentially dangerous. So what? 2. Carter was injured because he fell on his shoulder the wrong way. That can happen in almost any tackle on the field. 3. So what if he lead with the shoulder? That's how you make a good tackle. What else should a player lead with...
