Kaino's already re-signed with the Blues.

Yep....I'm pretty sure he did too.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

NZ. Honestly. It would be great for him I reckon. Or the Roosters. Some time next to SBW and James Maloney would do him a world of good.

    LOL....no Shiggins - Bob Dwyer!

Might be the first piece from him that I've read that doesn't say anything about the ref or the ABs cheating...

Hooper's one is interesting as there was quite a lot made out of a similar penalty a few weeks back with Aaron Smith over Lealiifano I think it was. Not a word here. I also noticed McCalman on Messam and thought Messam was going to retalliate with something for a secound there. This is an...

SBW is great for everyone. While it might seem like he's being 'parachuted' back into the ABs, the truth is that if we do actually have the depth to not need him, it's still a great motivation for those other guys to stay on their 'A' game. Apparently it was a big driver in keeping Nonu...

Is the TMO no longer required?

It looked to me to go backwards out of Louw's hands so it was fine in my book.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Having played both games for over 10 years now I can see how hard it would be to get NFL players to convert. While it may seem like a similar game, the differences are massive. As a running back, it probably took me at least 3 seasons to really start seeing blocks, right holes etc etc. The...

Is the TMO no longer required?

You must be kidding Muttonbird. Got it wrong twice? Habana try - correct. Nonu non-try - correct. McCaw shoulder charge - debatable. C'mon bro.....you're kidding yourself if you think Poite's use (or non-use) of the TMO has been better than Owen's?!

I wasn't sold on Messam at all but he really proved himself in that last SA Test for mine. Kaino is going to have a battle on his hands....great for NZ rugby!!

You can still be a devastating player without the top-end pace. There are plenty of guys playing who aren't out-and-out speedsters.

Gordon Tietjens will have that sorted pretty quick. SBW would be devastating in 7's. How hard is he to stop one-on-one and with all that space AND his off-load. 7s players know all about support play....he'd be a huge asset for Tietjens and the 7s squad.

I think it's great for rugby. Who really wants to 'warm' to the opposition? Hopefully the Wallabies are sticking this on the wall in the lockers before the game and using it to get up and shove back in Hansen's face. Awesome stuff for ruggers I reckon......

How many of those 30K are AB supporters? ;) Not just financial reward either but also the public and fans. NZ public would have had only one chance every year to watch a Bledisloe match in NZ since what...2003?!
